25. (c) & (d) Yes, the Ministry issued an advisory in June, 2012 to all Regional Passport Offices in the country to introduce walk in facility to ease availability of on line appointment and facilitate easy submission of forms for passport applications under following categories:-

(ग) एवं (घ) जी, हां। मंत्रालय ने जून, 2012 में देश में सभी क्षेत्रीय पासपोर्ट कार्यालयों को निम्नलिखित श्रेणीयों के आवेदकों के लिए ऑनलाइन मुलाकात को आसान बनाने तथा उनसे आवेदन प्राप्त करने के बावत वॉक इन सुविधा शुरू करने के लिए एडवाइजरी जारी की हैः-

26. (b) The "mPassport Police” App would help the Police Verifying Officer to capture the data for Police Verification Report (PVR) on real-time basis at applicant’s place of residence and would expedite the submission of PVR, making the entire Police Verification flow digital and accountable.

(ख) : "एम पासपोर्ट पुलिस” एप से पुलिस सत्यापन करने वाले अधिकारी को आवेदक के निवास स्थान पर रियल-टाइम आधार पर पुलिस सत्यापन रिपोर्ट के लिए आंकड़े प्राप्त करने में सहायता मिलेगी और इससे पुलिस सत्यापन रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत करने के कार्य में तेजी आएगी, जिससे पुलिस सत्यापन के सम्पूर्ण कार्य को डिजिटल तथा जवाबदेह बनाया जा सकेगा।

27. VIII. प्रक्रिया का सरलीकरणः पासपोर्ट जमा करने की प्रक्रिया को आसान बनाने के लिए (क) पते के सबूत के तौर पर पंजीकृत किराया करार, (ख) राजपत्रित अधिकारियों द्वारा सत्यापन की आवश्यकता की बजाय स्व-सत्यापित दस्तावेज, (ग) निजी क्षेत्र के अनुसूचित भारतीय बैंकों तथा क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों द्वारा जारी फोटोयुक्त पासबुकों को पते और पहचान के रूप में स्वीकार करने जैसे अनेक उपाय किए गए हैं।

28. प्रक्रिया का सरलीकरणः पासपोर्ट आवेदन जमा करने की प्रक्रिया को सरल बनाने हेतु कई कदम उठाए गए हैं जैसे (क) निवास प्रमाण पत्र के रूप में पंजीकृत रेंट करार, (ख) दस्तावेजों को राजपत्रित सरकारी अधिकारी द्वारा सत्यापित करने के स्थान पर स्व प्रमाणित करना, (ग) पहचान तथा निवास प्रमाण के रूप में अनुसूचित निजी क्षेत्र भारतीय बैंकों तथा क्षेत्रीय ग्रामीण बैंकों द्वारा जारी की गई फोटो पासबुक को स्वीकृत किया गया है।

29. Tatkal passports will be issued on the day of submission of the application. We propose to have 68 Passport Facilitation Centres all over the country where the non-sovereign functions, involved in the passport issuance process, such as initial scrutiny of the application forms, acceptance of fee, scanning of the documents, taking photos, etc. will be performed by the service provider who has been selected through an open bidding process.

हमारा प्रस्ताव संपूर्ण देश में 68 पासपोर्ट सुविधा केंद्रों की स्थापना करने का है जिनमें पासपोर्ट जारी करने की प्रक्रिया के अशासकीय कार्य, जैसे कि आवेदन प्रपत्रों की आरंभिक जांच, शुल्क जमा करना, दस्तावेजों की स्कैनिंग, फोटो लेना इत्यादि उस सेवा प्रदाता द्वारा किए जाएंगे जिसका चयन खुली निविदा प्रक्रिया के द्वारा किया गया है।
