(b) As per directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court, an affidavit was filed in the Supreme Court on April 12, 2012 wherein it was stated that the number of pilgrimages to a Haj applicant through the Haj Committee of India (HCOI) be restricted to "once in a life time” as against the existing "once in five years” .

(ख) माननीय उच्चतम न्यायालय के निर्देश के अनुसार 12 अप्रैल, 2012 को उच्चतम न्यायालय में एक शपथ पत्र दायर किया गया था जिसमें यह कहा गया था कि भारतीय हज समिति (एच सी ओ आई) के माध्यम से हज आवेदकों की यात्रा की संख्या मौजूदा "पांच वर्षों में एक बार" के स्थान पर "जीवन काल में एक बार" तक सीमित कर दी जाए।
