मेजर फ्रैंक गेराल्ड ब्लेकर, 9वां गोरखा रायफल्स (मरणोपरांत पुरस्कार) 9 जुलाई 1944 को मध्यम से लेकर हल्के मशीन गनों वाली नजदीकी गोलीबारी से एक महत्वपूर्ण अग्रगमन के दौरान मेजर ब्लेकर एक कंपनी की कमान संभाल रहे थे।
