1. 17 But Ammon stood forth and said unto him: Behold, thou shalt not slay thy son; nevertheless, it were abetter that he should fall than thee, for behold, he has brepented of his sins; but if thou shouldst fall at this time, in thine anger, thy soul could not be saved.

17 Mais Ammon s’avança et lui dit : Voici, tu ne tueras pas ton fils ; néanmoins, il avaudrait mieux qu’il tombe que toi, car voici, il bs’est repenti de ses péchés ; mais si tu tombais en ce moment, dans ta colère, ton âme ne pourrait être sauvée.

2. 26 Nevertheless, they did find a land which had been peopled; yea, a land which was covered with dry abones; yea, a land which had been peopled and which had been destroyed; and they, having supposed it to be the land of Zarahemla, returned to the land of Nephi, having arrived in the borders of the land not many days before the bcoming of Ammon.
