1. 8 그러나 ᄀ그들이 진정으로, 회개하고 용서를 구할 때마다, 그들은 ᄂ용서를 얻었느니라.

8 But aas oft as they repented and sought forgiveness, with real bintent, they were cforgiven.

2. 친절과 부드러움을 나타내고 용서를 하면 “완전한 결합의 띠”인 사랑이 자라게 됩니다.

Kindness, tenderness, and forgiveness lead to love, “a perfect bond of union.”

3. 하지만 예수께서는 조건을 말씀하셨습니다. 그것은 하느님께 용서를 받으려면 우리도 다른 사람들을 용서해야 한다는 것입니다.

However, Jesus mentioned a condition: To be forgiven by God, we must forgive others.

4. 그는 자신의 잘못이 미치는 영향을 모두 시인할 때에만 용서를 구하는 자신의 청원이 여호와께 의미를 지닌다는 것을 인정해야 합니다.

He should recognize that only when he acknowledges the full effects of his bad actions will his request for forgiveness have weight with Jehovah.

5. 여러분과 여러분이 용서를 구하는 사람에 대한 주님의 완전한 사랑에 대한 신뢰는 어느 곳에서든 할 수만 있다면 보상하려는 여러분의 결심을 강화하는 데 어떻게 도움이 됩니까?

How can your trust in the Lord’s perfect love for you and for the person from whom you seek forgiveness strengthen your resolve to make restitution wherever possible?

6. (마태 19:5, 6; 고린도 전 6:16) 그러므로 만일 어떤 사람이 간음을 범하였다면, 자기 배우자에게 그 죄를 고백하지 않고서 어떻게 하나님의 용서를 기대할 수 있겠는가?

6:16) So if a person committed adultery, how could he expect God’s forgiveness unless the sin was confessed to his mate?

7. 후에 옥타비아누스(아우구스투스 카이사르)가 악티움 해전에서 안토니우스를 무찔렀을 때, 헤롯은 마르쿠스를 지지한 일에 대해 교묘한 방법으로 아우구스투스에게서 용서를 받아 냈으며, 그 뒤로는 아우구스투스와 우호 관계를 유지하였다.

Later, when Octavius (Augustus Caesar) defeated Antony at the battle of Actium, Herod adroitly obtained Augustus’ forgiveness for supporting Antony, and thereafter he retained the friendship of Augustus.
