1. 3 The Sovereign Lord Jehovah is “a God of saving acts.”

3 주권자이신 주 여호와는 “구원의 행동을 하시는 하느님”이십니다.

2. Soon all of them will have to bow before the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

얼마 안가서 모든 나라들은 주권자인 주 여호와 앞에 허리를 굽혀야 할 것이다.

3. You can acknowledge his position as supreme Sovereign and declare your submission to his will.

당신은 최고 주권자로서의 그분의 지위를 인정할 수 있으며 당신이 그의 뜻에 복종함을 알릴 수 있읍니다.

4. There is no wonder that the Sovereign Lord Jehovah addressed these words to his appreciative people:

주권자이신 주 여호와께서 자기의 인식깊은 백성에게 하신 다음과 같은 말씀은 놀라운 것이 아닙니다.

5. Imagine —the Universal Sovereign is calling upon you to share in addressing the greatest issue of all time.

6. 20 The Bible clearly shows that nations and individuals must render an account to the Sovereign Lord Jehovah.

7. By means of it, you exalt God’s great name and accept his absolute right and authority as Universal Sovereign.

우리는 전파 활동을 통해 하느님의 위대한 이름을 드높이며 그분이 우주 주권자로서 절대적인 권리와 권위를 가지고 계시다는 것을 인정합니다.

8. Faithful servants of God on earth addressed him as “Sovereign Lord,” and this title appears over 300 times in the inspired Scriptures.

‘세상 왕국이 우리 주[여호와]와 그분의 그리스도의 왕국이 되었[다].’” 땅에 있는 하느님의 충실한 종들은 그분을 “주권자인 주”라고 부르는데, 이 칭호는 영감받은 성경에 300번 이상 나온다.

9. This is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah says: “Here I am setting a fire ablaze against you,+ and it will consume every green tree and every dry tree in you.

10. But what comfort and strength we gain from the assurance that the Sovereign Lord Jehovah “will actually swallow up death forever, and . . . will certainly wipe the tears from all faces”!

그러나 주권자이신 주 여호와께서 “사망을 영원히 멸하[시고] ··· 모든 얼굴에서 눈물을 씻기시”리라는 보증의 말로부터 우리는 참으로 위로와 힘을 얻습니다!

11. (Ezekiel 1:1, 14-28) Yes, Jehovah’s organization, like the almighty Sovereign in control of it, is supremely adaptable, responsive to the ever-changing situations and needs it must address.

(에스겔 1:1, 14-28) 그렇습니다. 여호와의 조직은, 그 조직을 지휘하고 있는 전능하신 주권자와 마찬가지로, 적응력이 대단히 뛰어나고, 끊임없이 변하는 상황과 그러한 상황이 요구하는 필요에 부응할 수 있습니다.

12. Now I continue to appreciate the unique and absolutely awesome privilege of talking to the Sovereign Lord of the universe and of being able to draw close to him.

나는 우주의 주권자인 주께 이야기하고 그분께 가까이 갈 수 있는 이 독특하고 참으로 외경스러운 특권을 지금도 계속 소중히 여깁니다.

13. Such lovers of the rightful Universal Sovereign are people that will line up now, without further delay, on the side of His Messiah, the King of kings and Lord of lords.

14. (Daniel 7:9, 10) For aeons Jehovah, “the Ancient of Days,” presided as Sovereign over his immense and orderly family of spirit sons, who served as “ministers” doing his will. —Psalm 103:20, 21.

15. Jehovah exhibited his Sovereign power by holding in abeyance the aggressive, rapacious powers of Assyria and Babylon until his own due time, even maneuvering them so that they acted in fulfillment of his prophecies.

여호와께서는 공격적이고 탐욕스러운 아시리아와 바빌론 강국을 자신이 정하신 때까지 가만히 있게 하심으로써, 심지어 그 강국들이 하느님의 예언을 성취시키기 위해 행동하도록 조종하심으로써 자신의 최고 주권을 전시하셨다.

16. 11 “Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord Jehovah has said, ‘There is an adversary even round about the land,+ and he will certainly bring your* strength down from you, and your dwelling towers will actually be plundered.’

11 그러므로 주권자인 주 여호와가 이렇게 말한다. ‘이 땅 주위에 적대자가 있는데,+ 그가 반드시 네게서 네 힘을 끌어내릴 것이며, 네 거주 탑들은 강탈당할 것이다.’

17. Jehovah God is designated as the Source of law, the Supreme Lawgiver (Isa 33:22), the Sovereign, delegating authority (Ps 73:28; Jer 50:25; Lu 2:29; Ac 4:24; Re 6:10), without whose permission or allowance no authority can be exercised.

여호와 하느님은 법의 근원, 최고의 입법자(사 33:22), 권위를 위임하시는 주권자(시 73:28; 렘 50:25; 누 2:29; 행 4:24; 계 6:10)로 불리시며, 그분의 허락이나 용인 없이는 그 어떤 권위도 행사될 수 없다.

18. (Revelation 7:9, 14, 15) It is hoped that the members of this clean-robed “great crowd” will abide in those courtyards of God’s spiritual temple clear through the thousand years and the test of absolute integrity to the Sovereign Lord Jehovah after the millennium is ended.
