1. People often have money for things like tobacco and worldly literature.

इस तथ्य को सर्वप्रथम रखिए कि हमारा उद्देश्य राज्य का सुसमाचार प्रचार करना और चेले बनाना है।

यदि हम सावधान नहीं हैं, तो हम आसानी से सांसारिक समकक्षों द्वारा उनके जैसे कपड़े पहनने के लिए प्रभावित हो सकते हैं।

सांसारिक प्रभावों का इतना प्रतिरोध करना, आपकी शारीरिक कमज़ोरियों से इतनी ज़्यादा लड़ाई करना, और इब्लीस के जलते हुए तीरों को बार-बार मोड़ना व्यर्थ नहीं होगा।

आज के अनेक युवाओं के ग़ैर-ज़िम्मेदार और विनाशक तौर तरीक़ों को देखते हुए—धूम्रपान, नशीले पदार्थों और शराब का दुष्प्रयोग, अनुचित सेक्स, और अन्य सांसारिक लक्ष्य, जैसे कि जंगली खेल-कूद और अपभ्रष्ट संगीत और मनोरंजन—यह सचमुच उन मसीही युवाओं के लिए समयोचित सलाह है जो एक स्वास्थ्यकर और संतोषजनक जीवन-शैली का अनुसरण करना चाहते हैं।
