* केन्द्रीय मंत्रिमंडल द्वारा अनुमोदित और सेवा भागीदार के रूप में टाटा कंसल्टेंसी सर्विसेज के साथ सार्वजनिक निजी भागीदारी विधि से प्रारंभ की गई पासपोर्ट सेवा परियोजना का उद्देश्य "नागरिकों को समयबद्ध, पारदर्शी और अपेक्षाकृत सुलभ, विश्वसनीय रूप में तथा सरल एवं कारगर प्रक्रिया और प्रतिबद्ध, प्रशिक्षित एवं प्रेरित कार्यबल के माध्यम से सुविधाजनक माहौल में पासपोर्ट संबंधी सभी सेवाएं प्रदान करना" है।

62. * The Passport Seva Project approved by the Union Cabinet and launched in Public Private Partnership mode with Tata Consultancy Services as partner aims"to deliver all Passport-related services to the citizens in a timely, transparent, more accessible, reliable manner & in a comfortable environment through streamlined processes and committed, trained & motivated workforce”.
