3. There sledges with sharp stone or iron teeth on their underside were pulled over the grain by animals to break the stalks into pieces and loosen the kernels from the chaff.

वहाँ गेहूँ को जानवरों की मदद से पत्थर-जड़े या लोहे के दाँतोंवाले तख्ते या पटरे से दाँवने का काम किया जाता था ताकि गेहूँ के दाने बालों से निकल आएँ।

5. A large machine resembling a wheat harvester is slowly moving through the tall crop of sugarcane, chopping the stalks in the harvesting process and depositing the cut cane into a trailer moving alongside.

एक बड़ी मशीन जो दिखने में गेहूँ काटने की मशीन जैसी दिखती है, उससे गन्ने की फसल काट ली जाती है और फिर उसे मशीन के साथ जुड़े एक ट्रेलर में इकट्ठा किया जाता है।
