1. + As agreed in the March Separation Plan, India has accepted only IAEA safeguards that will be reflected in an India-specific Safeguards Agreement with the IAEA.

5. After successfully hosting an IAEA Operational Safety Review Team at two nuclear power reactors in 2012, this year we have invited the IAEA to conduct a regulatory review of India’s Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB).

6. Conclusion of Practical Arrangements between GCNEP and the IAEA would reinforce India’s cooperation with the Agency.

जीसीएनईपी तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी के बीच व्यावहारिक व्यवस्थाएं संपन्न किए जाने से इस एजेंसी के साथ भारत के सहयोग में और वृद्धि होगी।

7. The additional protocol merely facilitates the implementation of the IAEA safeguards as per India’s safeguards agreement.

अतिरिक्त प्रोटोकाल बस भारत के सुरक्षोपाय करार के अनुसार आई ए ई ए सुरक्षोपाय के कार्यान्वयन में सहायता प्रदान करता है।

8. As supplier states, the sides support multilateral approaches to the nuclear fuel cycle at the IAEA.

आपूर्तिकर्ता देशों के रूप में दोनों पक्ष अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी में परमाणु ईंधन चक्र के संबंध में बहुपक्षीय दृष्टिकोणों का भी समर्थन करते हैं।

9. The Additional Protocol was signed between the Government of India and the IAEA on 15 May 2009.

भारत सरकार तथा आईएईए के बीच करार के अतिरिक्त प्रोतोकॉल पर 15 मई, 2009 को हस्ताक्षर किए गए थे।

10. The meeting assumes significance in view of the forthcoming IAEA Board of Governors meeting on August 1, 2008.

01 अगस्त, 2008 को आईएईए के बोर्ड ऑफ गवर्नर्स की आगामी बैठक को ध्यान में रखते हुए यह बैठक महत्वपूर्ण हो जाती है ।

11. Additionally IAEA has conducted the "Integrated Regulatory Review Service” (IRRS) review of India's regulatory agency, the AERB.

14. India has been actively involved in the preparation of the Nuclear Security Series documents produced by the IAEA.

भारत आईएईए द्वारा प्रकाशित परमाणु सुरक्षा श्रृंखला दस्तावेजों को तैयार करने में भी सक्रिय रूप से शामिल रहा है।

15. India undertakes that the reactor facilities and nuclear fuel supplied by Russia shall remain under the IAEA safeguards during the entire period of their actual use in accordance with the agreement on safeguards, which shall be concluded between the Republic of India and the IAEA.

भारत वादा करता है कि रूस द्वारा आपूर्त रिएक्टर सुविधाएं और परमाणु ईंधन, रक्षोपाय समझौते जो भारत गणराज्य और आईएईए के बीच किया जाएगा, के अनुसार वास्तविक प्रयोग की संपूर्ण अवधि में आईएईए रक्षोपायों के तहत रहेगा ।

16. We have actively associated with and contributed to the IAEA and other multilateral forums dealing with all aspects of nuclear material.

हम सक्रिय रूप से जुड़े हैं और हमने परमाणु सामग्री के सभी पहलुओं के साथ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी और अन्य बहुपक्षीय मंचों के लिए योगदान दिया है।

17. And significantly, we are going to engage with the IAEA on its Nuclear Security Advisory Service which is called IPPAS.

और महत्वपूर्ण रुप से हम आईएईए को अपने परमाणु सुरक्षा सलाहकार सेवा पर संलग्न करने जा रहे हैं, जो आईपीपीएएस कहा जाता है।

18. * Negotiation of an India specific safeguard agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) covering India's declared civil nuclear energy facilities.

19. * Iranian military leaders have stated publicly that they will refuse to allow International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspections of their military sites.

20. (c) & (d) Government are currently engaged in negotiations with the IAEA to finalise an agreed text of an India-specific Safeguards Agreement.

21. Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India, Shri Rajiva Misra handed over the Instrument of Ratification to Acting Director General of IAEA, Juan Carlos Lentijo.

भारत के राजदूत तथा स्थायी प्रतिनिधि श्री राजीव मिश्रा ने आई ए ई ए के कार्यकारी महानिदेशक जुआन कार्लोस लेंटिजो को पुष्टि लिखत सौंपा।

22. As negotiated by India in the Agreement, India will complete the negotiation of an India-specific safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

जैसा कि करार में भारत द्वारा बातचीत के माध्यम से तय किया गया है, भारत अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी (आई. ए. ई. ए) के साथ भारत-विशिष्ट सुरक्षापाय करार संबंधी-वार्ता संपन्न करेगा।

23. * We recognize that the development, within the framework of the IAEA, of options for national policies on HEU management will advance nuclear security objectives.

* हम इस बात को स्वीकार करते हैं कि अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी की रूपरेखा के अंतर्गत उच्च संवर्धित यूरेनियम प्रबंधन से संबद्ध राष्ट्रीय नीतियों के लिए विकल्पों का विकास करने से परमाणु सुरक्षा से संबद्ध उद्देश्यों को बढ़ावा मिलेगा।

24. We will not accept any verification measures regarding our safeguarded nuclear facilities beyond those contained in an India-Specific Safeguards Agreement with the IAEA.

हम आईएईए के साथ भारत विशिष्ट रक्षोपाय समझौते में उल्लिखित अपनी सुरक्षित परमाणु सुविधाओं के बारे में किसी सत्यापन उपाय को स्वीकार नहीं करेंगे ।

25. The administrative arrangements text that we have agreed with the US conforms to our bilateral legal arrangements as well as our practice on IAEA safeguards.

यूएस के साथ जिस प्रशासनिक व्यवस्था पाठ पर हम सहमत हुए हैं वह हमारे द्विपक्षीय कानूनी व्यवस्थाओं की तथा आई ए ई ए सुरक्षोपायों पर हमारी प्रथा की भी पुष्टि करता है।

26. As negotiated by India in the Agreement, India will complete the negotiation of an India specific safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

जैसा कि करार में भारत द्वारा बातचीत की गयी है, भारत अंतरराष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी(आईएईए) के साथ विशेष रूप से रक्षोपाय करार पर बातचीत करेगा।

27. To this end, both Sides look forward to the finalization of India specific safeguards agreement with the IAEA and the adjustment of international civil nuclear cooperation framework.

इस प्रयोजनार्थ दोनों पक्षों को अन्तर्राष्ट्री परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी के साथ भारत विशिष्ट सुरक्षोपाय करार के अंतिम रूप दिए जाने तथा अंतर्राष्ट्रीय असैन्य परमाणु सहयोग रूपरेखा में समायोजन की प्रतीक्षा है।

28. The Iran nuclear issue should be resolved through peaceful diplomacy, and the framework of IAEA provides the best forum to address technical aspects of the issue.

ईरान के नाभिकीय मुद्दे का निवारण शांतिपूर्ण राजनय के माध्यम से किया जाना चाहिए और आई. ए. ई. ए.

29. Director General, International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) has recently said that by some estimates thirty-five to forty countries could have the knowledge to acquire nuclear weapons.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा आयोग (आई ए ई ए) के महानिदेशक ने हाल में कहा कि कुछ अनुमानों के अनुसार 35 से 40 देशों के पास नाभिकीय हथियारों का निर्माण करने की क्षमता हो सकती है ।

30. They urged Iran to co-operate fully with the IAEA and fulfil the requirements of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions, to address international concerns about its nuclear programme.

उन्होंने अपने परमाणु कार्यक्रम के बारे में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय चिंताओं को दूर करने के लिए आईएईए के साथ पूरी तरह सहयोग करने और संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के संगत संकल्पों की अपेक्षाओं का पालन करने के लिए ईरान से आग्रह किया।

31. Has the IAEA accepted India’s Separation Plan, and in particular have they accepted that India wants the capacity to take corrective measures if there is any disruption in fuel supplies?

32. We are also privileged that Dr Amano has chosen to visit India soon after the IAEA BOG had approved by acclamation earlier this month his second term as Director General of the Agency.

33. The IAEA Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Safety in June 2011 served as a platform to make an initial assessment of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident and the lessons to be drawn from it.

जून, 2011 में आयोजित परमाणु सुरक्षा से संबद्ध आईएईए अभिसमय ने फुकूशीमा दाइची परमाणु दुर्घटना का आरंभिक आकलन किए जाने तथा इससे सीखे जाने वाले सबक के संदर्भ में एक मंच के रूप में कार्य किया।

34. India has always held that the nuclear issue should be resolved through peaceful diplomacy and the framework of the IAEA provides the best forum to address the technical aspects of the issue.

भारत की यह सोच रही है कि परमाणु मुद्दों का समाधान शांतिपूर्ण राजनय से किया जाना चाहिए और अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी (आईएईए) इस विषय के तकनीकी पहलुओं पर चर्चा करने का सर्वोत्तम मंच उपलब्ध कराता है।

35. The participation of India and Belarus in an international project on innovative nuclear reactors being implemented under the aegis of the IAEA is an example of effective international co-operation in this regard.

आईएईए के तत्वावधान में कार्यान्वित की जा रही नवीन परमाणु रिएक्टर संबंधी अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परियोजना में भारत और बेलारूस की भागीदारी इस संबंध में कारगर अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग का उदाहरण है ।

36. So there is this linking which has been done, which says that we are going in for the IAEA safeguards because we are also talking about the supply agreements where the continuity is built in.

और फिर यह ईंधन आपूर्ति संबंधी करारों के बारे में बात करता है।

37. In the Chairman’s Summary there is a separate heading which says "civil nuclear cooperation with India” and says "we look forward to working with India, the IAEA, the NSG and other partners to advance ...” etc.

39. As a founder member of the IAEA and as a country possessing advanced nuclear technologies, India believes that predictable access to nuclear energy would be critical to promote global economic development and combat climate change.

अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी के एक संस्थापक सदस्य और उन्नत परमाणु प्रौद्योगिकी रखने वाले एक देश के रूप में, भारत का मानना है कि परमाणु ऊर्जा के लिए उम्मीद के मुताबिक पहुँच वैश्विक आर्थिक विकास और जलवायु परिवर्तन से निपटने को बढ़ावा देने के लिए महत्वपूर्ण होगी.

40. There is an agreement that Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) and its Belgian counterpart have signed in 2012 covering cooperation in the management of nuclear waste, advanced research reactor system, and collaboration in connection with IAEA projects.

एक समझौता भाभा परमाणु अनुसंधान केन्द्र (बीएआरसी) और इसके बेल्जियम समकक्ष के बीच वर्ष 2012 में हस्ताक्षरित हुआ है जिसमें परमाणु कचरे के प्रबंधन, उन्नत अनुसंधान रिएक्टर प्रणाली, और अंतरराष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी के संबंध में सहकारिता को शामिल किया गया है।

41. * If either Party at any time following entry into force of this Agreement: (A) does not comply with the provisions of Article 5, 6, 7, 8, or 9; or (B) terminates, abrogates, or materially violates a safeguards agreement with the IAEA;

42. The President assured the Special Envoy of South Africa's support and complete understanding of India's quest for energy security and reiterated the stated position with respect to the matters before the IAEA Board as well as the Nuclear Suppliers Group(NSG).

राष्ट्रपति ने विशेष दूत को दक्षिण अफ्रीका के समर्थन और ऊर्जा सुरक्षा के लिए भारत की खोज के संबंध में पूर्ण समझ – बूझ का आश्वासन दिया और आईएईए बोर्ड एवं परमाणु आपूर्तिकर्ता समूह (एनएसजी) के समक्ष मामले के संबंध में अपनी सुविदित स्थिति दोहराई ।

43. The bar which prevailed, which did not allow the NSG members to enter into nuclear trade with India, has been removed with the approval of the India Specific Safeguards Agreement by the Board of Governors of IAEA, and clear clearance by NSG members.

जो प्रतिबंध लागू था, जिसके कारण भारत के साथ एनएसजी सदस्य परमाणु व्यापार नहीं कर सकते थे, अंतर्राष्ट्रीय परमाणु ऊर्जा एजेंसी के बोर्ड ऑफ गवर्नर्स द्वारा भारत – विशिष्ट रक्षोपाय समझौते के अनुमोदन और एनएसजी सदस्यों द्वारा स्पष्ट स्वीकृति से दूर हो गया है ।

44. The Heads of the IAEA, the United Nations and INTERPOL addressed the leaders, and this animated the conversation on the contribution of five institutions - the United Nations, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the INTERPOL and then two partnerships, the Global Initiative to Combat Nuclear Terrorism and the G8 Global Partnership.

45. * On the basis of the Indo-US bilateral Agreement and the finalisation of an India-specific Safeguards Agreement with the IAEA, which is being taken up shortly, the Nuclear Suppliers Group is expected to adapt its guidelines to enable international commerce with India in civil nuclear energy and all dual use technologies associated with it.

विशिष्ट सुरक्षा निगरानी करार जो कि जल्दी ही किया जाने वाला है, के आधार पर परमाणु आपूर्तिकर्ता समूह द्वारा अपने दिशानिर्देशों में परिवर्तन करने की आशा है ताकि नागरिक परमाणु ऊर्जा और इससे जुड़ी सभी दोहरे इस्तेमाल वाली टेक्नॉलॉजी में भारत के साथ अंतर्राष्ट्रीय व्यापार किया जा सके ।

46. You might be aware that our SCOMET lists as they are called are upgraded and this actually was announced when the Director-General of the IAEA was in Delhi, and it has been accepted by most of our partners that today our lists of this what is called SCOMET by DGFT are in fact in line with the best practices of the NSG, the MTCR and the other export control regimes.
