6. Noting that increased mobility of capital and technology have created new opportunities for avoiding tax and profit shifting, the Prime Minister said he urged every jurisdiction, especially tax havens, to provide information for tax purposes in accordance with treaty obligations.

पूंजी और प्रौद्योगिकी जुटाने में वृद्धि से कर वंचन और लाभ कमाने के नए अवसर पैदा होने का उल्लेख करते हुए प्रधानमंत्री ने संधि के दायित्वों के अनुरूप कर उद्देश्यों के लिए सूचना उपलब्ध कराने के लिए खासतौर से कर वंचना के अनुकूल क्षेत्रों को न्याय के कठघरे में लाने का अनुरोध किया।

7. India, as an affected party, urges the international community to work towards early adoption of the United Nations Comprehensive Convention on International Terrorism which will, inter alia, deny terrorists and their supporters’ access to arms, funds and safe havens.

इन सब चुनौतियों से प्रभावित भारत अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय समुदाय से अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय आतंकवाद पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र के व्यापक सन्धिपत्र के अनुरूप व्यवहार करने का निवेदन करता है जिससे आतंकवादियों तथा उनके समर्थकों को हथियार, धन और सुरक्षित शरणस्थल न प्राप्त हो सके।

8. * The Sides reiterated their condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and reaffirmed their commitment to dismantle safe havens for terrorist and criminal networks such as Da’esh/ISIL, Al-Qa'ida, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, D Company and its affiliates and the Haqqani Network.

9. Both presidents also stressed the importance of implementing U.N. Security Council Resolution 2254, and supporting the U.N.-led Geneva Process to peacefully resolve the Syrian civil war, end the humanitarian crisis, allow displaced Syrians to return home, and ensure the stability of a unified Syria free of malign intervention and terrorist safe havens.

दोनों राष्ट्रपतियों ने संयुक्त राष्ट्र सुरक्षा परिषद के प्रस्ताव 2254 को लागू करने के महत्व, और सीरियाई गृह युद्ध के शांतिपूर्ण समाधान, मानवीय संकट की समाप्ति, विस्थापित सीरियाईयों की घर वापसी की अनुमति देने, और दुर्भावनापूर्ण हस्तक्षेप तथा आतंकियों की सुरक्षित पनाहगाहों से मुक्त एक एकीकृत सीरिया की स्थिरता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र की अगुवाई वाली जेनेवा प्रक्रिया को समर्थन देने पर भी ज़ोर दिया।

10. Therefore they stressed the regional aspects of terrorism and extremism, emphasizing the necessity of joint and coordinated efforts and cooperation between the states of the region, especially taking into account the expected drawdown of international forces in 2014,in order to combat terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, including elimination of terrorist safe havens and cutting off financial support to terrorism. 58.

इसलिए, उन्होंने आतंकवाद एवं अतिवाद के क्षेत्रीय पहलुओं पर बल दिया तथा इस क्षेत्र के देशों के बीच संयुक्त एवं समवेत प्रयासों एवं सहयोग की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया, विशेष रूप से 2014 में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सैनिकों की संख्या अपेक्षित कमी को ध्यान में रखते हुए ताकि सभी रूपों एवं अभिव्यक्तियों के आतंकवाद से निपटा जा सके, जिसमें आतंकियों के सुरक्षित आश्रयों का सफाया तथा आतंकवाद के वित्तीय समर्थन की जड़ काटना शामिल है।
