इस संदर्भ में उन्होंने केन्द्र सरकार की स्वच्छ ऊर्जा संबंधी विभिन्न पहलों जैसे इथनॉल सम्मिश्रण, कम्प्रैस्ड, जैव गैस संयंत्र, एलपीजी का दायरा बढ़ाने और वाहनों के लिए बीएस-6 ईंधन शुरू करने का जिक्र किया।

10. Government of India has recently notified National Policy on Biofuels-2018 which focusses on giving impetus to R&D in field of advanced biofuels such as 2G Ethanol, Bio-CNG, biomethanol, Drop-in fuels, DME etc.

भारत सरकार ने हाल ही में राष्ट्रीय जैव ईंधन नीति-2018 को अधिसूचित किया है जिसमें उन्नत जैव ईंधनों जैसे कि 2जी एथनॉल, जैव-सीएनजी, जैवमेथनॉल, ड्रॉप-इन ईंधनों, डीएमई, इत्यादि के क्षेत्र में अनुसंधान एवं विकास पर विशेष जोर देने पर फोकस किया जा रहा है।

11. We call upon the international community to strengthen overall cooperation on energy development and utilization, with emphasis on renewable energy and energy efficiency and giving adequate consideration to solar, wind and hydro-electrical power, and bio-fuels such as ethanol and bio-diesel without adversely affecting food security.

इसके लिए नवीकरण ऊर्जा और ऊर्जा दक्षता तथा सौर्य ऊर्जा के साथ-साथ वायु और पनबिजली ऊर्जा तथा जैव ईंधनों जैसे एथनोल और जैव डीजल पर विचार करने की जरूरत है क्योंकि इनका खाद्यान्न सुरक्षा पर कोई प्रतिकूल प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता है। * साफ-सुथरी ऊर्जा प्रौद्योगिकी जो आसानी से वहन की जा सके और पर्यावरण हितैषी हो, के विकास के लिए अधिक प्रयास किए जाने चाहिए।

12. * The two sides appreciated recent conclusion of an MoU between Civil Aviation authorities on code shares, intermodal services, routing flexibility, open sky on cargo and on domestic code-sharing; the finalization of the text of the agreement on gainful employment by dependent family members of the diplomatic staff; noted ongoing negotiations on waiver of visas for diplomatic passport holders; and the decision to move forward with a bio-refinery project for production of fuel grade Ethanol, acetic acid, furfural and bio-coal from bamboo in Assam.

* दोनों पक्षों ने कोड की हिस्सेदारी, इंटरमाडल सेवाओं, रूटिंग फ्लेक्सिबिलिटी, कार्गो पर तथा डोमेस्टिक पर ओपन स्काई कोड शेयरिंग पर नागर विमानन प्राधिकरणों के बीच एम ओ यू के हाल ही में अंजाम पर पहुंचने; राजनयिक स्टाफ के आश्रित पारिवारिक सदस्यों द्वारा लाभप्रद रोजगार पर करार के पाठ को अंतिम रूप देने की सराहना की; राजनयिक पासपोर्ट धारकों के लिए वीजा पर चल रही वार्ता को नोट किया; और असम में बांस से ईंधन ग्रेड एथानोल, एस्टिक एसिड, फरफूरल और बायो कोल के उत्पादन के लिए एक बायो रिफायनरी परियोजना की दिशा में आगे बढ़ने के निर्णय का स्वागत किया।
