Eine eigenartige Erscheinung wird am Ende der trockenen Jahreszeit des tropischen Klimas beobachtet: die zentralen Teile der grossen Früchte zeigen Anaerobiose-Erscheinungen; es tritt 0,2 bis 0,3 g Äthanol pro kg des zentralen Teils der Frucht auf.

78. In ethanol-treated animals, which had received theβ-adrenolytic Kö 592 for 24 hours before sacrifice, the increased contents of free fatty acids in the serum and of fat in the liver diminished while the esterified fatty acids in the serum remained elevated.

Bei den mit Alkohol behandelten Tieren, die 24 Std lang vor der Bestimmung der Lipide dasβ-Adrenolyticum Kö 592 erhielten, kam es zur Abnahme der Serumkonzentration an freien Fettsäuren und des Fettgehaltes der Leber bei unverändert erhöhtem Gehalt des Serums an veresterten Fettsäuren.

80. Following the spraying with a 0.1% TAR solution in 95% ethanol, treatment with ammonia vapour for 30 minutes and drying in an air stream of about 40° for 30–45 minutes seemed to produce optimum analytical results for all three metals on both cellulose and silica gel.

Nach dem Sprühen mit äthanolischer 0,1%iger TAR-Lösung erhält man für Kobalt, Kupfer und Nickel auf Zellulose oder Kieselgel die besten Analysenergebnisse, wenn man 30 Minuten mit Ammoniak räuchert und 30 bis 45 Minuten bei 40° trocknet.
