1. Foreign Secretary: The agreements pertain mainly to some arrangements on the border and some economic assistance programmes.

विदेश सचिव : ये करार मुख्यत: सीमा से संबंधित व्यवस्थाओं तथा आर्थिक सहायता कार्यक्रमों के रूप में है।

2. The United States acknowledged India’s longstanding and ongoing contributions of economic assistance to Afghanistan and also welcomed India’s enhanced role in Afghanistan’s development and stabilization.

संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका ने अफगानिस्तान के लिए आर्थिक सहायता के भारत के लंबे और निरंतर योगदान को स्वीकार किया है और साथ ही अफगानिस्तान के विकास और स्थिरता में भारत की विस्तारित भूमिका का स्वागत किया है।

3. (a) & (b) The Development Partnership Administration was set up in the Ministry of External Affairs to ensure speedy and efficient implementation of India's external economic assistance programme in close coordination with other Ministries/Departments.

(क) एवं (ख) विदेश मंत्रालय में विकास भागीदारी प्रशासन की स्थापना अन्य मंत्रालयों/विभागों के घनिष्ठ सहयोग से भारत के विदेशी आर्थिक सहायता कार्यक्रमों का द्रुत व कारगर कार्यान्वयन सुनिश्चित करने के लिए की गई थी।

4. Of course we saw this and we anticipated this and put in place instruments like the Indian Technical and Economic Assistance programme, better known by the acronym of ITEC. 1964 is when we launched it.
