66. Given this ease of changing sizes, it is of course common to copy or print a given document on different sizes of paper, especially within a series, e.g. a drawing on A3 may be enlarged to A2 or reduced to A4.

67. (c) & (d) Yes, the Ministry issued an advisory in June, 2012 to all Regional Passport Offices in the country to introduce walk in facility to ease availability of on line appointment and facilitate easy submission of forms for passport applications under following categories:-

(ग) एवं (घ) जी, हां। मंत्रालय ने जून, 2012 में देश में सभी क्षेत्रीय पासपोर्ट कार्यालयों को निम्नलिखित श्रेणीयों के आवेदकों के लिए ऑनलाइन मुलाकात को आसान बनाने तथा उनसे आवेदन प्राप्त करने के बावत वॉक इन सुविधा शुरू करने के लिए एडवाइजरी जारी की हैः-

68. In order to streamline, liberalize and ease the process of issue of passport, the Ministry of External Affairs has taken a number of steps in the realm of passport policy which is expected to benefit the citizens of India applying for a passport.

विदेश मंत्रालय ने पासपोर्ट जारी करने की प्रक्रिया को सरल, उदार तथा आसान बनाने के लिए पासपोर्ट नीति के अंतर्गत कई उपाय किए हैं जिससे उम्मीद है कि पासपोर्ट हेतु आवेदन करने वाले भारतीय नागरिकों को लाभ मिलेगा।

69. (c) & (d) If MAC’s recommendations are accepted by the UK Government, it would have an adverse impact on the ease of entry and the competitiveness of Indian IT and ITES companies in the UK including by making the UK visa application process more expensive and difficult.

(ग) और (घ) : यदि एम ए सी सिफारिशों के यूके सरकार द्वारा स्वीकार कर लिया जाता है तो यह यू के वीजा आवेदन प्रक्रिया को अधिक महंगा और कठिन बनाने के साथ-साथ भारतीय आई टी एवं आई टी ई एस कंपनियों की प्रतिस्पर्धा तथा प्रवेश की सुलभता पर प्रतिकूल प्रभाव डालेगा।

We are, absolutely, committed to what we tried to do last year which was to ensure that there must be accountability, there must be fair participation, there must be sanctions which must be imposed, where they are to be found after adjudication, and a life of dignity and a life of equality must be ensured to all the Tamil citizens of Sri Lanka.
