न्यूक्लिक अम्ल और प्रोटीन स्वयं वायुमंडल में उपस्थित नाइट्रोजन ( ण्2 ) , अमोनिया ( ण्3 ) , कार्बन मोनोआक्साइड ( छौ ) , कार्बन डाइआक्साइड ( छौ2 ) , मीथेन ( छ्4 ) और पानी ( ः2औ ) से उत्पन्न हुए होंगे और अपने लिए आवश्यक ऊर्जा उष्मा , विद्युत आवेशों और पराबैंगनी प्रकाश से लेते रहे

69. We call upon the international community to strengthen overall cooperation on energy development and utilization, with emphasis on renewable energy and energy efficiency and giving adequate consideration to solar, wind and hydro-electrical power, and bio-fuels such as ethanol and bio-diesel without adversely affecting food security.

इसके लिए नवीकरण ऊर्जा और ऊर्जा दक्षता तथा सौर्य ऊर्जा के साथ-साथ वायु और पनबिजली ऊर्जा तथा जैव ईंधनों जैसे एथनोल और जैव डीजल पर विचार करने की जरूरत है क्योंकि इनका खाद्यान्न सुरक्षा पर कोई प्रतिकूल प्रभाव नहीं पड़ता है। * साफ-सुथरी ऊर्जा प्रौद्योगिकी जो आसानी से वहन की जा सके और पर्यावरण हितैषी हो, के विकास के लिए अधिक प्रयास किए जाने चाहिए।

70. The policy also envisages to domestically meet the entire demand of high grade automotive steel, electrical steel, special steels and alloys for strategic applications and increase domestic availability of washed coking coal so as to reduce import dependence on coking coal from about 85% to around 65% by 2030-31.

इसके अलावा इस नीति के तहत उच्च श्रेणी के ऑटोमोटिव इस्पात, इलेक्ट्रिकल इस्पात, विशेष इस्पात एवं सामरिक कार्यों के लिए मिश्र धातुओं की पूरी मांग को घरेलू स्तर पर पूरा करने और धुले हुए कोकिंग कोल की घरेलू उपलब्धता बढ़ाने की परिकल्पना की गई है ताकि 2031-31 तक आयातित कोकिंग कोल पर निर्भरता को करीब 85 प्रतिशत से घटाकर करीब 65 प्रतिशत पर लाया जा सके।
