1. That God could confidently entrust any of his creatures with such remarkable authority and power would in itself be a splendid testimony to the moral strength of his rule, contributing to the vindication of Jehovah’s sovereignty and exposing the falsity of his adversary’s allegations.

Daß Jehova seine Geschöpfe überhaupt vertrauensvoll mit solch beachtlicher Autorität und Macht ausstattet, ist an sich schon ein hervorragender Beweis für die moralische Stärke seiner Herrschaft, was zur Rechtfertigung seines Namens und seiner Stellung sowie zur Bloßstellung der Falschanklagen seines Gegners beiträgt.
