2. “음행”은 혼전 성 관계와 동성애를 포함하여 성적인 죄 모두를 망라한다.

“Fornication” covers an array of sexual sins, including premarital sex and homosexuality.

3. 하지만, 성서는 모든 사람이 “음란[음행, 신세]을 버리”는 것이 하나님의 뜻이며, “음란[음행]하는 자나 우상 숭배하는 자나 간음하는 자나 탐색하는 자나 남색하는 자[들은] ··· 하나님의 나라를 유업으로 받지 못”할 것이라고 말한다.

The Bible, however, states that it is God’s will for all to “abstain from fornication” and that “neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men . . . will inherit God’s kingdom.”

4. 이 세상이 간통과 음행, 동성애를 금하는 하나님의 법을 무시하기 때문이다. 그러한 행위로 인해 성병이 퍼지게 된다.

Because the world ignores God’s laws forbidding adultery, fornication and homosexuality; and that is how venereal disease is spread.

“This is what God wills,” states 1 Thessalonians 4:3, “that you abstain from fornication.”
