1. An anti-fouling agent, especially against biofilms, for wet surfaces contains a mixture of at least one water-soluble, weakly dissociating, organic acid and at least one water-soluble, weakly dissociating, organic per-acid.

2. Methods for dissociating cells are therefore more drastic and not necessarily compatible with long-term viability.
