1. (Ephesians 2:3) Rather than joy and fine memories, such weddings often produce ‘loose conduct, enmities, jealousy, contentions, envies, revelries’ —the works of the flesh. —Galatians 5:19-21.

Thay vì lưu lại những kỷ-niệm vui-vẻ tốt đẹp, các đám cưới như thế thường gây ra “tranh-đấu, ghen-ghét, buồn-giận, cãi-lẫy, bất-bình...mê ăn uống” tức những việc làm của xác-thịt (Ga-la-ti 5:19-21).

2. “Works of the flesh,” such as “fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries, and things like these,” will be eliminated, because “those who practice such things will not inherit God’s kingdom.” —Galatians 5:19-21.

Những “việc làm của xác-thịt” như “gian-dâm, ô-uế, luông-tuồng, thờ hình-tượng, phù-phép, thù-oán, tranh-đấu, ghen-ghét, buồn-giận, cãi-lẫy, bất-bình, bè-đảng, ganh-gổ, say-sưa, mê ăn-uống, cùng các sự khác giống vậy” sẽ không còn nữa, vì “hễ ai phạm những việc thể ấy không được hưởng nước Đức Chúa Trời” (Ga-la-ti 5:19-21).
