अघापि (प्यार) दुश्मनी या नफरत की हर दीवार को तोड़ डालता है, यह कभी एक इंसान को नफरत से अंधा होकर सही उसूलों को ठुकराना या किसी के बुरे व्यवहार के लिए उससे बदला लेना नहीं सिखाता।’

एक ही समय में यह उदार जमींदार जहां अपनी रैयतों की भलाई के प्रति इतना चिंतित था - उसके बीच बैठा सर्जक आम लोगों के जीवन , उनके हर्ष और विषाद , उनके प्यार और प्रतिकार , उनके धैर्य और बहादुरी के छोटे - मोटे कारनामे , परिवार या धर्म के मामले में अपना बलिदान करने को उनकी क्षमता तथा अन्याय और अत्याचार के प्रति कायरतापूर्ण जीवन को लक्ष्य कर मौन सहमति कहा था .
