56. The hospitality and material assistance extended to those exclusively devoting themselves to the interests of pure worship may be referred to as wages due them, according to the principle: “The worker is worthy of his wages.”

순결한 숭배의 권익을 위하여 전적으로 헌신한 사람들에게 베풀어지는 후대와 물질적 지원은, “일꾼이 자기 삯을 받는 것이 합당”하다는 원칙을 근거로 볼 때 그들이 받아 마땅한 삯이라고 할 수 있다.

57. To that Source the acclamation goes: “You are worthy, Jehovah, even our God, to receive the glory and the honor and the power, because you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created.”

58. 27 Only behave* in a manner worthy of the good news about the Christ,+ so that whether I come and see you or I am absent, I may hear about you and learn that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one soul,*+ striving side by side for the faith of the good news, 28 and in no way being frightened by your opponents.

27 다만 그리스도에 관한 좋은 소식에 합당하게 행동하십시오. *+ 그리하여 내가 가서 여러분을 만나게 되든 떨어져 있든, 여러분이 한 영으로 굳건히 서 있고 한 영혼으로*+ 좋은 소식에 대한 믿음을 위해 나란히 힘써 싸우고 있으며 28 어떤 면에서도 반대자들 때문에 두려워하지 않고 있다는 말을 내가 듣고 알게 되기를 바랍니다.
