4. Get thee to bed, and rest; for thou hast need.

5. 16 And again: I will set a mark upon him that fighteth against thee and thy seed.

16 또 너와 네 씨를 대적하여 싸우는 자에게는 내가 표를 두리라.

6. 27 Behold, O God, they acry unto thee, and yet their hearts are swallowed up in their pride.

27 하나님이시여, 보시옵소서, 그들이 주께 ᄀ부르짖사오나, 그들의 마음은 그들의 교만 속에 삼키웠나이다.

7. Hast thou eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat, if so thou shouldst surely adie?

내가 너더러 명하기를 먹지 말라, 만일 먹으면 반드시 ᄀ죽으리라 한 그 나무 열매를 네가 먹었느냐?

8. 6 aCry out and shout, thou inhabitant of Zion; for great is the Holy One of Israel in the midst of thee.

6 너 시온의 주민아, ᄀ크게 외치며 소리칠지어다.

9. “Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

“진실로 진실로 네게 이르노니 사람이 물과 성령으로 거듭나지 아니하면 하나님 나라에 들어갈 수 없느니라

10. Then comes a great acknowledgement of faith: “I pray thee, come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.”

이어 그의 신앙을 알 수 있는 말이 뒤따릅니다. “오셔서 그 위에 손을 얹으사 그로 구원을 받아 살게 하소서”.

11. 6 For the Lord hath called thee aas a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused, saith thy God.

6 이는 네가 버려졌을 때 주께서 너를 부르시기를, 마치 버림받아 마음이 비통하게 된 여인, 곧 청년 때의 아내를 부르심같이 하셨음이니라. 네 하나님께서 말씀하시느니라.

12. 31 For thou knowest, O Lord, that thy servants have been innocent before thee in abearing record of thy name, for which they have suffered these things.

31 오 주여, 이는 당신의 종들이 당신의 이름을 증거함에 있어 당신 앞에 지금까지 무죄하였음을 당신께서 아시오며 그로 인해 그들이 이러한 일을 당하였음이니이다.

13. “The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men are, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican.

바리새인은 서서 따로 기도하여 이르되 하나님이여 나는 다른 사람들 곧 토색, 불의, 간음을 하는 자들과 같지 아니하고 이 세리와도 같지 아니함을 감사하나이다

14. 17 The Lord shall abring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come from the day that bEphraim departed from Judah, the king of Assyria.

17 주께서 ᄀ에브라임이 유다에게서 떠나던 날로부터 이르지 아니한 날들을 네 위에, 그리고 네 백성 위에, 그리고 네 아버지의 집에 ᄂ임하게 하시리니 곧 앗수르 왕이라.

15. 15 And shake off the adust of thy feet against those who receive thee not, not in their presence, lest thou bprovoke them, but in secret; and cwash thy feet, as a testimony against them in the day of judgment.

15 그리고 너를 영접하지 아니하는 자들을 대하여 네 발의 ᄀ먼지를 털어 버리되, 네가 그들을 노하게 할까 염려하여 그들 앞에서는 하지 말고 은밀히 하라. 그리고 심판하는 날에 그들에 대한 증거로 네 발을 씻으라.

16. 17 But Ammon stood forth and said unto him: Behold, thou shalt not slay thy son; nevertheless, it were abetter that he should fall than thee, for behold, he has brepented of his sins; but if thou shouldst fall at this time, in thine anger, thy soul could not be saved.

17 그러나 암몬이 나서서 그에게 이르되, 보소서, 당신 아들을 죽이지 마소서. 그러나 당신보다 그가 쓰러지는 것이 ᄀ나으리니, 이는 보소서, 그는 이미 자기의 죄를 ᄂ회개하였음이라. 그러나 이때 만일 당신이 노한 가운데 쓰러지면, 당신의 영혼은 구원받지 못하리이다.
