1. The Bank of Korea may, when the Monetary Policy Committee deems it necessary for the implementation of monetary and credit policies, request the FSS to perform an examination of a bank and/or other financial institutions, or ask that its staff jointly participate in an FSS-led examination.

(국회 〈법률지식정보시스템〉"국회 재정경제위원회 심사보고서" 참조) 한국은행은 금융통화위원회가 통화신용정책의 수행을 위하여 필요하다고 인정하는 경우에는 금융감독원에 대하여 은행 등 금융회사에 대한 검사를 요구하거나, 한국은행 직원이 금융감독원의 금융회사 검사에 공동으로 참여할 수 있도록 요구할 수 있다.
