5 यशायाह के दिनों में, अभी बाबुल विश्वशक्ति नहीं बना है, मगर यहोवा पहले से जानता है कि जब उसका वक्त आएगा तब वह अपनी ताकत का नाजायज़ फायदा उठाएगा।

वे विपत्तियाँ उस प्रथम विश्व शक्ति और उसके झूठे धर्म पर यहोवा के न्यायदंड की अभिव्यक्तियाँ तो थीं ही, पर उन से परमेश्वर के लोगों को निकल भागने का रास्ता भी खुल गया।

5. Although that nation, the third world power of Bible record, will conquer God’s people and seek to ‘hem them in,’ or block their way of escape, faithful Jews know that Jehovah has foretold the fall of Babylon at the hand of Cyrus.

यह बाबुल देश जो बाइबल के इतिहास के मुताबिक तीसरी विश्वशक्ति है, परमेश्वर के लोगों पर फतह हासिल करेगा और उन्हें ‘रोकने’ यानी उनके बचाव के रास्ते में आड़े आने की कोशिश करेगा, मगर वफादार यहूदी जानते हैं कि यहोवा की भविष्यवाणी के मुताबिक कुस्रू के हाथों इसका पतन होगा।
