1. 12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.

2. 3 But when thou doest alms let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth;

3. 36 Yea, and acry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy bdoings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy cthoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever.

4. We do not follow “beggar thy neighbour” macro-economic policies.

5. The next words of Jesus’ prayer were: “Hallowed be thy name.”

यीशु की प्रार्थना के अगले शब्द थे: “तेरा नाम पवित्र माना जाए।”

6. For instance, they may have repeated “Hallowed be thy name” and “Thy kingdom come” for a lifetime without ever learning God’s name or what his Kingdom is.

7. 17 The Lord shall abring upon thee, and upon thy people, and upon thy father’s house, days that have not come from the day that bEphraim departed from Judah, the king of Assyria.

8. Stressing the importance of that name, Jesus said in his model prayer: “Hallowed be thy name.”

इस नाम की अहमियत पर ज़ोर देते हुए यीशु ने अपनी आदर्श प्रार्थना में कहा: “तेरा नाम पवित्र माना जाए।”

9. Allah has commanded me to invite you to His religion by saying: And warn thy nearest kinsfolk.

अल्लाह ने मुझे आपको अपने धर्म में आमंत्रित करने का आदेश दिया है: और अपने निकटतम रिश्तेदारों को चेतावनी दीजिए।

10. 16 And again: I will set a mark upon him that fighteth against thee and thy seed.

16 और फिर से, मैं उस पर चिन्ह लगाऊंगा जो तुम्हारे और तुम्हारे वंश के विरूद्ध लड़ेगा ।

11. 9 After this amanner therefore bpray ye: Our cFather who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.

12. An authority on stress has said: “‘Love thy neighbor’ is one of the sagest bits of medical advice ever given.”

13. 4 That thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father who seeth in secret, himself shall reward thee openly.

4 ताकि तुम्हारा दान गुप्त रहे; और तुम्हारा पिता जो गुप्त में देखता है, वही तुम्हें खुले तौर पर पुरस्कार देगा ।

14. 17 But Ammon stood forth and said unto him: Behold, thou shalt not slay thy son; nevertheless, it were abetter that he should fall than thee, for behold, he has brepented of his sins; but if thou shouldst fall at this time, in thine anger, thy soul could not be saved.

17 परन्तु अम्मोन आगे खड़ा हो गया और उससे कहा: देखो, तुम्हें अपने बेटे को नहीं मारना चाहिए; फिर भी, यह अच्छा है कि तुम्हारे गिरने की बजाय वह गिरे, क्योंकि देखो, उसने अपने पापों का पश्चाताप कर लिया है; परन्तु अपने क्रोध में इस समय यदि तुम गिर जाते हो तो तुम्हारी आत्मा को नहीं बचाया जा सकता है ।

15. 26 And he lifted up his voice to heaven, and acried, saying: O, how long, O Lord, wilt thou suffer that thy servants shall dwell here below in the flesh, to behold such gross wickedness among the children of men?

16. The notional words of the chime, again derived from Great St Mary's and in turn an allusion to Psalm 37:23–24, are: "All through this hour/Lord be my guide/And by Thy power/No foot shall slide".
