4. With the tragic losses suffered in the November 2008 terrorist attacks in Mumbai particularly in mind, we call for the active prosecution of the authors of such crimes and their accomplices, and urge that they be /brought to justice expeditiously.

मुम्बई में नवंबर, 2008 माह में किए गए आतंकवदी हमलों को विशेष रूप से ध्यान में रखते हुए हम इन अपराधों के साजिशकर्ताओं एवं उनके सहयोगियों पर अभियोजन चलाए जाने और शीघ्र ही उन्हें कानून के दायरे में लाने का आह्वान करते हैं।

7. At the outset, let me offer, on behalf of the people and Government of India, deepest condolences for the loss of human lives and for the massive devastation caused by the tragic earthquake on 25 April, and its major aftershock on 12 May.

सबसे पहले, मैं भारत सरकार एवं भारत के लोगों की ओर से 25 अप्रैल को त्रासदीपूर्ण भूकंप तथा 12 मई को इसके प्रमुख आफ्टर शॉक की वजह से भारी तबाही के लिए और मानव जीवन की क्षति के लिए गहरी संवेदना प्रकट करना चाहती हूँ।

(a) & (b) Yes, Government of India is aware of the tragic incident that took place in Brisbane, capital of Australian state of Queensland, on 28 October, 2016 when Shri Manmeet Sharma alias Alisher, a 29 years old Australian citizen of Indian origin hailing from Punjab, was killed by an unidentified assailant by throwing a highly inflammable substance, leading to his death from severe burns, while he was on duty driving a Brisbane city bus.

(क) और (ख) हां। भारत सरकार को ऑस्ट्रेलियाई राज्य क्वींसलैंड की राजधानी ब्रिसबेन में 28 अक्तूबर, 2016 को हुई दुर्भाग्यपूर्ण घटना की जानकारी है, जिसमें मूल रूप से पंजाब राज्य के भारतीय मूल के ऑस्ट्रेलियाई नागरिक मनमीत शर्मा उर्फ अलीशेरा के ऊपर एक उपद्रवी ने ज्वलनशील पदार्थ फेंककर उनकी हत्या कर दी थी, इस घटना के दौरान वे अपनी ड्यूटी पर थे और ब्रिसबेन सिटी बस चला रहे थे, इस घटना के दौरान वे गंभीर रूप से जल गए जिसके कारण उनकी मृत्यु हो गई थी।

The tragic incident took place in Brisbane, capital of Australian state of Queensland, on 28 October, 2016 when Shri Manmeet Sharma alias Alisher, a 29 years old Australian citizen of Indian origin hailing from Punjab, was killed by an assailant, who apparently has a long history of mental illness, by throwing a highly inflammable substance, leading to his death from severe burns, while he was on duty driving a Brisbane city bus.

यह दर्दनाक घटना दिनांक 28 अक्तूिबर, 2016 को ऑस्ट्रेयलियन स्टे्ट ऑफ क्वीं सलैंड की राजधानी ब्रिस्बे)न में हुई थी जब पंजाब के रहने वाले भारतीय मूल के 29 वर्षीय ऑस्ट्रे लियाई नागरिक श्री मनमीत शर्मा उर्फ अली शेर, जो ब्रिस्बेजन सिटी बस में चालक के रूप में ड्यूटी पर था, पर एक हत्या्रे ने अत्यंसत ज्वालनशील पदार्थ फेंक दिया था जिससे गंभीर रूप से जलने के कारण अली शेर की मौत हो गई थी। हत्यारा लंबे समय से मानसिक बीमारी से पीड़ित था।
