1. This committee was: Ali Uthman ibn Affan Abdur Rahman bin Awf Sa`d ibn Abi Waqqas Al-Zubayr Talhah Umar asked that, after his death, the committee reach a final decision within three days, and the next caliph should take the oath of office on the fourth day.

यह समिति थी: अली उथमान इब्न अफान अब्दुर रहमान बिन अवेफ सैद इब्न अबी वकाकस अल-ज़ुबाय्र तलहा हजरत उमर ने कहा कि, उनकी मृत्यु के बाद, समिति तीन दिनों के भीतर एक अंतिम निर्णय ले, और अगले ख़लीफ़ा को चौथे दिन कार्यालय की शपथ लेनी चाहिए।
