1. 17 You, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard so that you may not be led astray with them by the error of the lawless people and fall from your own steadfastness.

17 इसलिए प्यारे भाइयो, तुम जो पहले से इन बातों की जानकारी रखते हो, खबरदार रहो कि तुम उन दुष्टों की धोखा देनेवाली बातों में आकर उनके साथ गुमराह न हो जाओ बल्कि इसी तरह मज़बूत खड़े रहो और गिर न जाओ।

2. He also urged them: “Beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard that you may not be led away [by false teachers and ungodly men] and fall from your own steadfastness.”

उसने यह कहकर भी उकसाया: “हे प्रियो तुम लोग पहिले ही से इन बातों को जानकर चौकस रहो, ताकि [झूठे शिक्षकों और अधर्मी लोगों] के भ्रम में फंसकर अपनी स्थिरता को हाथ से कहीं खो न दो।”

3. Having this advance knowledge, be on your guard that you may not be led away with them by the error of the law-defying people and fall from your own steadfastness.” —2 Peter 3:14, 17.

4. He inspired Peter to write: “You, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard so that you may not be led astray with them by the error of the lawless people and fall from your own steadfastness.

5. 61:2) Thus, the apostle added: “You, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard that you may not be led away with them [false teachers] by the error of the law-defying people and fall from your own steadfastness.” —2 Pet.

6. Peter wrote: “Beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard that you may not be led away with them [false teachers within the Christian congregation] by the error of the law-defying people and fall from your own steadfastness.” —2 Pet.

7. Perhaps Peter has this in mind when he writes his parting admonition: “You, therefore, beloved ones, having this advance knowledge, be on your guard that you may not be led away with them by the error of the law-defying people and fall from your own steadfastness.”
