In a special ceremony, The King conferred the highest honour of Swaziland, the Order of the Lion, on President Kovind, in recognition of the fact that he was the first Indian Head of State to visit the Kingdom, and for acknowledging the contributions made by India for advancing Eswatini’s (Swaziland's) development agenda, including through the new initiatives announced during the present visit.

एक विशेष समारोह में, स्वाज़ीलैंड के राजा ने, राष्ट्रपति कोविंद को, अपने राज्य का दौरा करने वाले पहले भारतीय राष्ट्र प्रमुख होने, वर्तमान यात्रा के दौरान राष्ट्रपति द्वारा घोषित नई पहल सहित, एस्वातिनी (स्वाज़ीलैंड) के विकास के एजेंडे को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए भारत द्वारा किए गए योगदान को स्वीकार करतेहुए स्वाज़ीलैंड का सर्वोच्च सम्मान ऑर्डर ऑफ दी लायन प्रदान किया।

64. If the fifth anniversary of 9/11 enables us to move from that global recognition that this is a problem that faces all of us, to a global action amongst all the major countries to deal with the problem in its entirety, the problem in all its manifestations, if we are able to graduate to that level of cooperation, I think it would be a very fitting way to commemorate this anniversary.

यदि 9/11 की पांचवी वर्ष गांठ पर अन्तर्राष्ट्रीय स्तर पर यह मान लें कि यह हम सभी की समस्या है, इस समस्या को जड़ से उखाड़ फेंकने के लिए सभी प्रमुख देशों को एक साथ मिलकर कार्रवाई करनी है, और हम सहयोग कर सकें तो मैं सोचता हूं कि इस वर्ष गांठ को मनाने का यह सबसे उपयुक्त तरीका होगा ।

65. Of course India is a victim of terrorism as no other country has been but there is a recognition which is also recognized by Panama and its leadership that we need to work collectively to combat this menace and scourge, that there has to be an international voice against those who aid and abet terrorism, those who finance and train terrorists and where the United Nations and otherwise speak in one collective voice to condemn terrorists and supporters of terrorists.

इसमें कोई संदेह नहीं कि भारत जिस तरह से आतंकवाद का शिकार है, उस तरह कोई अन्य देश नहीं है, लेकिन इसे स्वीकार किया गया है और पनामा तथा उसके नेतृत्व ने भी माना है कि हमें इस खतरे और संकट से निपटने और उसका उन्मूलन करने के लिए सामूहिक रूप से काम करने की जरूरत है, इसके खिलाफ एक अंतरराष्ट्रीय आवाज होनी चाहिए, जो आतंकवाद की सहायता करते हैं, जो आतंकवादियों को वित्त पोषित और प्रशिक्षित करते हैं, या अन्यथा उनका समर्थन करते हैं उनके विरुद्ध संयुक्त राष्ट्र और अन्य मंचों पर एक सामूहिक आवाज होनी चाहिए। आतंकवादियों और उनके समर्थकों की निंदा की जानी चाहिए।

66. Issues involving land acquisition laws, government establishment, taxation, transfer pricing taxation, service taxation, industrial complexes, standards and certification systems. Improving the overall business environment from our side, be it mutual recognition agreements, market access issues, pharmaceutical concerns, testing procedures and standards. We are today at a stage where the business community on both the sides in partnership with their respective governments, very candidly raise issues which they believe are the obstacles to the further growth of trade and investment. This was the exercise, this was broadly what Prime Minister was referring to and that was thrust of his remarks.
