At this stage not only should general aspects such as nutrition , body weight , etc . be measured but the inculcation of good habits , e . g . abstinence from smoking , indulgence in regular exercise and sports and avoidance of obesity be stressed . Many congenital mafor - mations of skeletal growth , of the heart and of other organs can be detected at this stage .
