1. * India would like to exchange information on strategies for de-radicalisation, learn from Singaporean experience of involvement of private sector and academia in ensuring cyber security and Singapore's system of profiling containers/sea cargo and air passengers.

* भारत कट्टरता रोकने के लिए रणनीतियों पर जानकारी के आदान प्रदान, साइबर सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करने और कंटेनरों/समुद्री कार्गो और हवाई यात्रियों की रूपरेखा तैयार करने की सिंगापुर की प्रणाली में निजी क्षेत्र और शैक्षिक समुदाय की भागीदारी के सिंगापुर के अनुभव से सीखना चाहता है।

2. In keeping with the high priority BIMSTEC Members attach to combat terrorism and trans-national crime, it was agreed that India would host the first ever meeting of BIMSTEC National Security Chiefs to discuss action against spread of terrorism, violent extremism and radicalisation.

यह सहमति हुई कि भारत आतंकवाद के प्रसार, हिंसक चरमपंथ और कट्टरपंथ के खिलाफ कार्रवाई पर चर्चा करने के लिए बिम्सटेक राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा प्रमुखों की पहली बैठक की मेजबानी करेगा.

3. * Both sides noted that addressing the menace of global terrorism should be based on a comprehensive approach which should include, but not limited to, countering violent extremism, combating radicalisation and recruitment, disrupting terrorist movements, stopping all sources for financing of terrorism, stopping flow of Foreign Terrorist Fighters, dismantling terrorist infrastructure, and countering terrorist propaganda through the internet.

* दोनों पक्षों ने उल्लेख किया कि वैश्विक आतंकवाद के खतरे की पहचान एक व्यापक दृष्टिकोण पर आधारित होना चाहिए जिसमे हिंसक उग्रवाद का मुकाबला, कट्टरता और भर्ती का विरोध, आतंकवादी आंदोलनों को तितर-बितर करना, आतंकवाद के वित्तपोषण के सभी स्रोतों को रोकना, विदेशी आतंकवादी लड़ाके के प्रवाह को रोकना, आतंकवादी के बुनियादी ढांचे को नष्ट करना और इंटरनेट के द्वारा आतंकवादी दुष्प्रचार का मुकाबला, शामिल किया जाना चाहिए।
