हम विकसित देशों से अपील करते हैं कि वे वैश्विक हित, विशेष रूप से व्यापार के खुलापन, अपने जीएनपी के कम से कम 0.7 प्रतिशत को ओडीए के लिए आवंटित करने संबंधी अपनी प्रतिबद्धता को पूरा करें और वैश्विक सुशासन में सुधार करने के लिए अपने संकल्पों को नए सिरे से संस्तुत करें।

The discussions between President Obama and Prime Minister Singh on the regional situation, the problem and threat of terrorism in our region, Af-Pak issues, our respective relations with major regional players, the global financial situation, were all reflective of the trust, transparency and openness that increasingly marks our dialogue with each other.

They underlined that connectivity initiatives must be based on key principles of international norms, good governance, rule of law, openness, transparency; follow social and environmental standards, principles of financial responsibility, accountable debt-financing practices; and must be pursued in a manner that respects sovereignty and territorial integrity.
