मौसम विभाग के दो केंद्र हवा की गति, तीव्रता, और दिशा मापते हैं और मौसम और पुल की हालत देखकर गाड़ियों की रफ्तार या स्पीड लिमिट बदलते रहते हैं।

2. Wherever necessary, appropriate advisories are issued for avoiding using the Nepal route particularly when inclement weather is forecast.

जब कभी आवश्यक होता है, नेपाल से होकर गुजरने वाले मार्ग से बचने के लिए समुचित परामर्शियां जारी की जाती है।

3. According to a United Nations forecast, soon half the population of sub-Saharan Africa will be living in absolute poverty.

संयुक्त राष्ट्र के एक अनुमान के अनुसार, जल्द ही दक्षिण-सहारा अफ्रीका की आधी जनसंख्या अति ग़रीबी में जी रही होगी।

4. Recognition of the importance of building the capacity of countries to understand, forecast and address marine, ocean and climate science issues in the Indian Ocean.

हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में समुद्री, महासागरीय एवं जलवायु विज्ञान से जुड़े मुद्दों को समझने, भविष्यवाणी करने एवं निदान करने के लिए देशों की क्षमता निर्मित करने के महत्व को स्वीकार करना।

5. This year’s World Bank and IMF forecast is that Indian growth story is to reassert itself and we are going to have 8 per cent GDP growth in the current financial year and in absolute value terms, Indian economy is going to reach USD 9 trillion at the end of 2015.

इस साल के लिए विश्व बैंक एवं अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मुद्रा कोष की भविष्यवाणी यह है कि भारत अपनी विकास दर को फिर से बहाल करेगा तथा वर्तमान वित्त वर्ष में हमारी जीडीपी विकास दर 8 प्रतिशत होने वाली है तथा निरपेक्ष मूल्य की दृष्टि से भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था 2015 के अंत तक 9 ट्रिलियन अमरीकी डालर तक पहुंचने वाली है।

6. 20. There are three new proposals from India on (i) Agro-Meterological Advisory Service System for Enhancing Agriculture Output, (ii) Potential Fishing Zone Advisories and (iii) Forecast Demonstration Project for Improving the Track, Intensity, Landfall Prediction and Impact Assessment of Tropical Cyclones affecting the North Indian Ocean Rim Countries, under the Academic Group.

* निम्नलिखित विषयों पर भारत द्वारा तीन नए प्रस्ताव किए गए हैं: (i) कृषि उत्पाद संवर्धन हेतु कृषि – मौसम विज्ञान परामर्शी सेवा प्रणाली (ii) संभावित मात्स्यिकी क्षेत्र परामर्शी तथा (iii) शैक्षिक समूह के अंतर्गत उत्तरी हिन्द महासागर परिधि के देशों को प्रभावित करने वाले उष्णकटिबंधीय चक्रवातों के कारण भू-स्खलन पूर्वानुमान तथा प्रभाव आकलन कार्य में सुधार हेतु पूर्वानुमान प्रदर्शन परियोजना।
