1. Jesus has barely finished praying when Judas Iscariot arrives with a crowd carrying swords, clubs, and torches.

यीशु ने बमुश्किल प्रार्थना पूरी की है कि यहूदा इस्करियोती भीड़ के साथ आ पहुँचता है जिनके हाथों में तलवारें, लाठियाँ और मशालें हैं।

2. The historian was alluding, of course, to Judas Iscariot, who accepted 30 pieces of silver as the price for betraying Jesus Christ.

निश्चय ही, वह इतिहासकार यहूदा इस्करियोती का उल्लेख कर रहा था, जिसने यीशु मसीह का विश्वासघात करने की क़ीमत के तौर से, चाँदी के ३० मुहर लिए।

3. Indeed, the high priest Caiaphas and his accomplices and Judas Iscariot all bear heavier responsibility than Pilate for the unjust treatment of Jesus.

सचमुच, महायाजक काइफ़ा और उसके सहकर्मी और यहूदा इस्करियोती यीशु का अन्यायपूर्ण व्यवहार के लिए पीलातुस से और भारी ज़िम्मेदारी ढोते हैं।

4. Judas the betrayer hangs himself (Ac 1:18, 19)

गद्दार यहूदा फाँसी लगा लेता है (प्रेषि 1:18, 19)

5. Ac 1:18, 19 attributes the purchase to Judas, but this is evidently because the chief priests purchased the field with the money Judas provided.

प्रेष 1:18, 19 में बताया गया है कि यहूदा ने ज़मीन खरीदी थी। ऐसा शायद इसलिए लिखा गया है क्योंकि प्रधान याजकों ने यहूदा के लौटाए पैसों से वह ज़मीन खरीदी।

6. 27 After Judas took the piece of bread, then Satan entered into him.

27 यहूदा ने टुकड़ा लिया और इसके बाद शैतान उसमें समा गया।

7. Jesus’ reply evidently pointed out that Judas’ own words were an admission of responsibility for Jesus’ betrayal.

ज़ाहिर है कि यीशु का जवाब दिखाता है कि यहूदा सवाल पूछकर दरअसल खुद स्वीकार कर रहा था कि यीशु से गद्दारी करने के लिए वही ज़िम्मेदार है।

8. When Jesus has washed the feet of all 12, including the feet of his betrayer, Judas, he puts his outer garments on and reclines at the table again.

जब यीशु सभी १२ प्रेरितों के पाँव धो चुके, जिन में उसे पकड़वानेवाला, यहूदा भी शामिल है, वे अपने बाहरी वस्त्र पहनते हैं और दोबारा मेज़ पर बैठ जाते हैं।

9. 10 Later that night, in answer to a question put to him by the faithful apostle Judas (Thaddaeus), Jesus said: “If anyone loves me, he will observe my word, and my Father will love him, and we shall come to him and make our abode with him.”

10 उसी रात, अपने वफादार प्रेरित यहूदा (तद्दै) के एक सवाल का यीशु ने यह जवाब दिया: “यदि कोई मुझ से प्रेम रखे, तो वह मेरे वचन को मानेगा, और मेरा पिता उस से प्रेम रखेगा, और हम उसके पास आएंगे, और उसके साथ बास करेंगे।”
