During the interaction, officers shared their experiences on subjects such as a digital and smart governance, administrative procedures and accountability, transparency, doubling of farmers’ income, skill development, Swachh Bharat, consumer rights, environment protection, and building of New India by 2022.

बातचीत के दौरान अधिकारियों ने डिजिटल एवं स्मार्ट गवर्नेंस, प्रशासनिक प्रक्रियाओं एवं जवाबदेही, पारदर्शिता, किसानों की आय दोगुनी करने, कौशल विकास, स्वच्छ भारत, उपभोक्ता अधिकार, पर्यावरण सुरक्षा और 2022 तक नए भारत के निर्माण जैसे विषयों पर अपने अनुभवों को साझा किया।

74. The Leaders welcomed the effective interaction among specialists from the three countries, within the working groups on Agriculture, Environment & Climate Change, Culture, Defence, Education, Energy, Health, Human Settlements, Information Society, Public Administration, Revenue Administration, Science & Technology, Social Issues, Tourism, Trade & Investment, and Transport.

सभी नेताओं ने कृषि, पर्यावरण एवं जलवायु परितर्वन, संस्कृति, प्रतिरक्षा, शिक्षा, ऊर्जा, स्वास्थ्य, मानव बस्तियां, सूचना समाज, लोक प्रशासन, राजस्व प्रशासन, विज्ञान एवं प्रौद्योगिकी, सामाजिक मुद्दों, पर्यटन, व्यापार और निवेश एवं परिवहन से संबद्ध कार्यकारी दलों के अंतर्गत तीनों देशों के विशेषज्ञों के बीच प्रभावी कार्यकलाप किए जाने का स्वागत किया।

75. They acknowledged the importance of food processing and agribusiness as key areas for cooperation and agreed to undertake capacity building and joint research programmes and participate in each other’s food fairs to facilitate B-2-B interaction, flow of investment and transfer of technology.

उन्होंने सहयोग के प्रमुख क्षेत्रों के रूप में खाद्य प्रसंस्करण और कृषि व्यापार के महत्व को स्वीकार किया और क्षमता निर्माण तथा संयुक्त अनुसंधान कार्यक्रम शुरू करने और बी-2-बी वार्ता, निवेश प्रवाह एवं प्रौद्योगिकी हस्तांतरण को सुगम बनाने के लिए एक दूसरे के खाद्य मेलों में भाग लेने पर सहमति जताई।

76. This will actually be the fourth summit level interaction that the EU under the Finnish Presidency is undertaking in the last two months because they have just done in September - China, Republic of Korea and ASEAN in which we also participated as a member.

पिछले दो महीनों में फिनलैंड की अध्यक्षता में यूरोपीय संघ का वास्तव में यह चौथा शिखर स्तरीय संपर्क होगा क्योंकि उन्होंने सितंबर में चीन में, कोरिया गणराज्य में और आसियान में भी शिखर स्तरीय सम्मेलन किया था जिसमें सदस्य के तौर पर हमने भी भाग लिया था ।

77. It envisages regular interaction amongst the heads of Revenue administration of BRICS countries to continue discussion on common areas of interest and strive towards convergence of views and meeting of the Experts on tax matters to discuss the contemporary issues in areas of international tax.

इसके तहत ब्रिक्स देशों के राजस्व विभागों के प्रमुखों के बीच साझा हित वाले क्षेत्रों पर चर्चा करने के लिए नियमित बातचीत की परिकल्पना की गई है ताकि अंतरराष्ट्रीय कर के क्षेत्र में समकालीन मुद्दों पर चर्चा करने के लिए कर विशेषज्ञों की बैठक आयोजित करते हुए विचारों का आदान-प्रदान किया जा सके।

78. As this is the first interaction many of you are having with the new Government of India, let me outline briefly how we in India look at this age –old relationship, which is pivotal to our national development goals as well as regional peace and stability.

चूंकि आप में से कई लोग नई भारत सरकार के साथ पहली बार बातचीत कर रहे हैं, इसलिए मैं संक्षेप में यह बताना चाहती हूँ कि हम भारतीय इस सदियों पुराने रिश्ते को किस प्रकार देखते हैं, जो हमारे राष्ट्रीय विकास लक्ष्यों के साथ-साथ क्षेत्रीय शांति एवं स्थायित्व के लिए भी महत्वपूर्ण है।

An overall sense that in the last 7 or 8 years the relation has really broadened out very much that today it is not just between the Central Governments and the Foreign Ministries, today we have very robust defence exchanges, security exchanges, economic exchanges, sister city relationships, academic interaction etc.

एक समग्र भावना है कि पिछले 7 या 8 साल में संबंध वास्तव में बहुत ज्यादा चाैड़ा हुआ है कि आज यह सिर्फ केंद्र सरकार और विदेश मंत्रालयों के बीच नहीं है आज हमारे पास बहुत मजबूत रक्षा आदान-प्रदान, सुरक्षा के आदान-प्रदान, आर्थिक आदान-प्रदान, बहन शहर संबंध, शैक्षणिक बातचीत आदि हैं।

80. They stressed the need to ensure that the open border, which has facilitated economic interaction and movement of people and goods on both sides of the border and has been a unique feature of India-Nepal bilateral ties, is not allowed to be misused by unscrupulous elements posing security threats to either side.

दोनों देशों के मध्य आर्थिक समृद्धि व भाई चारा व व्यापारिक गतिविधियों को बढ़ावा देने हेतु सीमा रेखा को बंधन मुक्त करने पर भी सहमति बनाने पर जोर दिया गया ।
