1. The conference will see the participation of academicians, think tanks, representatives of industry, intelligentsia, civil society and senior officials.

इस सम्मेलन में शिक्षाविद, विचारक, उद्योग जगत, बुध्दिजीवी वर्ग, सभ्य समाज के प्रतिनिधि तथा वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भाग लेंगे।

2. The discussion will also see the participation of a large number of academicians, think tanks, representatives of industry, intelligentsia, journalists, civil society and senior officials from Uttar Pradesh and other parts of India.

इस विचार – विमर्श में बड़ी संख्या में शिक्षाविद, विचारक, उद्योग जगत के प्रतिनिधि, प्रबुद्ध – वर्ग, पत्रकार, सिविल सोसाइटी के प्रतिनिधि और उत्तर प्रदेश एवं भारत के विभिन्न भागों से वरिष्ठ अधिकारी भी भाग लेंगे ।

It was painful and humiliating fact that the intelligentsia of that generation to some extent even of this were borrowing their patterns of thought and behaviour , indeed even of their feelings and sensations , from the West , thereby justifying Tagore ' s charge that " educational institutions in our country are India ' s alms - bowl of knowledge ; they lower our national self - respect ; they encourage us to make a foolish display of decorations made of borrowed feathers . "

उस पीढी के बुद्धिजीवी और उनमें से कुछ आज भी अपने विचार और कार्य - पद्धति भर के ही लिए नहीं , अपनी भावनओं और संवेदनाओं तक को विदेशों से आयातित करते रहे और इस तरह रवीन्द्रनाथ के इस आरोप को न्यायसंगत बताते रहे कि ? हमारे देश की शैक्षणिक संस्थाएं मात्र ज्ञान का भिक्षापात्र हैं और ये हमारे राष्ट्रीय आत्म - सम्मान का सिर नीचा करती हैं और हमें इस बात के लिए उत्साहित करती हैं कि हम उधार लिए गए पंखों का मूर्खतापूर्ण और आडंबरपूर्ण प्रदर्शन कर सकें . ?
