48. “Come, you people, behold the activities of Jehovah, how he has set astonishing events on the earth.

“आओ, यहोवा के महाकर्म देखो, कि उस ने पृथ्वी पर कैसा कैसा उजाड़ किया है।

49. 17 As you review Stephen’s speech to the Sanhedrin up to this point, would you not agree that he skillfully addressed the attitudes of his accusers?

17 अब तक स्तिफनुस ने महासभा के आगे जो दलीलें पेश कीं, उस पर गौर करने से क्या आप इस बात से सहमत नहीं कि उसने बड़ी समझदारी से अपने विरोधियों को जताया कि उन्होंने जो धारणाएँ पाल रखी हैं वे गलत हैं?

50. Jehovah emphatically warned him of the consequences if he failed to carry out his assignment: “When I say to someone wicked, ‘You will positively die,’ and you do not actually warn him . . . , he being wicked, in his error he will die, but his blood I shall ask back from your own hand.”

65. Perhaps you wonder, ‘Does the fact that Jehovah appears not to have done anything about my trial mean that he is unaware of my situation or that he does not care about me?’
