मुखर्जी साहब यदि आपसे पूछ सकता, थाई सरकार ने एक नोट भेजा है जिसमें कहा गया है भारतीय नौसेना ने अदन की खाड़ी में थाई ट्रॉलर डुबो दिया ।

65. The Indian Navy has been part of anti-piracy patrols in the Gulf of Aden and the sea routes of the Indian Ocean since 2008 and has undertaken 50 anti-piracy escort Missions.

भारतीय नौसेना 2008 के बाद से अदन की खाड़ी में समुद्री डकैती विरोधी गश्त और हिंद महासागर के समुद्री मार्गों का हिस्सा रहा है और 50 विरोधी चोरी अनुरक्षण मिशन कार्य शुरू किये हैं।

66. (a) & (b) The Ministry has not come across any case of Indian labourers serving prison sentence in Gulf countries due to not following the oral instructions of their employers or violation of law in ignorance.

(क) और (ख) मंत्रालय को खाड़ी देशों में भारतीय कामगारों को उनके नियोक्ता द्वारा दिए गए मौखिक अनुदेशों का पालन न किए जाने तथा कानून का अनजाने में उल्लंघन किए जाने के कारण जेल की सजा काटने के किसी मामले की जानकारी नहीं है।

67. In this context, they welcomed the launch of India-Japan Shipping Policy Forum and mutual exchange of schedules of escort operations by the Indian Navy and Japan Self-Defense Forces in the Gulf of Aden.

इस संदर्भ में उन्होंने भारत-जापान नौवहन नीति मंच की शुरुआत किए जाने और अदन की खाड़ी में भारतीय नौसेना और जापान स्वरक्षा बलों द्वारा आयोजित किए जाने वाले स्कॉट अभियानों के कार्यक्रमों का आदान-प्रदान किए जाने का स्वागत किया।

68. The current international economic and financial situation provides a unique opportunity for India to leverage the vast surplus funds in the Gulf for our development needs, and to accelerate trade and investment flows into each other’s countries.

वर्तमान अंतर्राष्ट्रीय आर्थिक एवं वित्तीय स्थिति भारत के लिए एक विलक्षण अवसर उपलब्ध कराती है और हम इसमें खाड़ी क्षेत्र में उपलब्ध अतिरिक्त धन का उपयोग अपनी विकास आवश्यकताओं के लिए कर सकते हैं और एक दूसरे देशों में व्यापार और निवेश के प्रवाहों की गति को तेज कर सकते हैं।

69. (c) & (d) In view of the complaints of exploitation and harassment by unscrupulous agents and employers in the Gulf countries, the Government has taken additional measures to safeguard the interests of female workers migrating to Emigration Check Required (ECR) countries.

(ग) और (घ) बेईमान ऐजेंटों और खाड़ी देशों में नियोक्ताओं द्वारा शोषण और उत्पीड़न की शिकायतों को देखते हुए सरकार ने उत्प्रवासन जाँच अपेक्षित (ईसीआर) देशों को पलायन करने वाली महिला कामगारों के हितों की हिफाजत करने के लिए अतिरिक्त उपाय किए हैं।

70. In addition, the government has taken further measures to safeguard the interests of Indian female workers migrating to ECR countries in view of complaints of exploitation and harassment of domestic sector workers by unscrupulous agents and employers in the Gulf countries.

इसके अतिरिक्त, सरकार ने खाड़ी क्षेत्र में बेईमान एजेंटों और नियोक्ताओं द्वारा घरेलू क्षेत्र के कामगारों के शोषण और उत्पीड़न की शिकायतों के मद्देनजर उत्प्रवासन जाँच अपेक्षित देशों को पलायन करने वाली भारतीय महिला कामगारों के हितों को संरक्षित करने के लिए और उपाय किए हैं।

71. (a) No. (b) In view of complaints of exploitation and harassment of the housemaids by unscrupulous agents and employers in the Gulf countries, the Government has taken additional measures to safeguard the interests of Indian female workers migrating to ECR countries.

(ख) खाड़ी देशों में बेईमान एजेंटों और नियोक्ताओं द्वारा घरेलू नौकरानियों के शोषण और उत्पीड़न की शिकायतों के दृष्टिगत, सरकार ने उत्प्रवास जांच अपेक्षित देशों को जाने वाली भारतीय महिला कामगारों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए अतिरिक्त उपाय किए हैं।

72. At the same time in order to meet the new challenges that international shipping is facing from non-State actors especially in the Gulf of Aden, we believe it is time for our two countries to expand our naval cooperation.

हमारा मानना है कि विशेषकर अदन की खाड़ी में अराजक तत्वों की कारगुजारियों के कारण अंतर्राष्ट्रीय नौवहन के समक्ष उत्पन्न इन्हीं चुनौतियां का मुकाबला करने के लिए दोनों देशों को नौसेनाओं के बीच सहयोग को बढ़ावा देना चाहिए।

73. In some cases, female workers are taken by unauthorized Indian Recruiting Agents on a Tourist visa to a third country and then are sent to Gulf countries on employment visa to bypass Government’s safeguards put in place for protection of female workers.

कुछ मामलों में महिला कामगारों को भारतीय भर्ती एजेंटों द्वारा पर्यटक वीज़ा पर किसी तीसरे देश में ले जाया जाता है और तत्पश्चात् उन्हें सरकार द्वारा महिला कामगारों की सुरक्षा हेतु निर्धारित रक्षोपायों को नजरअंदाज करके रोजगार वीज़ा पर खाड़ी देशों में भेज दिया जाता है।

74. In addition, the government has also taken further measures to safeguard the interests of Indian female workers migrating to ECR countries in view of complaints of exploitation and harassment of domestic sector workers by unscrupulous agents and employers in the Gulf countries.

इसके अलावा सरकार ने खाड़ी देशों में फर्जी एजेंटों तथा नियोक्ताओं द्वारा घरेलू नौकरानियों पर अत्याचार करने तथा उन्हें परेशान किए जाने संबंधी शिकायतों को ध्यान में रखते हुए ईसीआर देशों में जाने वाली भारतीय महिला कामगारों की हितों की रक्षा करने के लिए कुछ और उपाय भी किए हैं।

75. (c & d) The Government has on several occasions, since 1996, through official channels and through Ministerial intervention requested the UNCC Governing Council to extend the deadline of 01.01.1996 set by UNCC for acceptance of applications for the Gulf War 1990-91 compensation.

(ग) और (घ) खाड़ी युद्ध 1990 -91 के मुआवजे के लिए आवेदन स्वीकार किये जाने के लिए संयुक्त राष्ट्र मुआवजा आयोग द्वारा निर्धारित अंतिम तारीख 01.01.1996 को आगे बढ़ाने के लिए 1996 से ही सरकार ने सरकारी माध्यमों और मंत्रिस्तरीय हस्तक्षेप के जरिए अनेक अवसरों पर संयुक्त राष्ट्र मुआवजा आयोग की शासी परिषद से अनुरोध किया है ।

76. The government has also taken additional measures to safeguard the interests of Indian female workers migrating to Emigration Check Required (ECR) countries in view of complaints of exploitation and harassment of the housemaids by unscrupulous agents and employers in the Gulf countries.

सरकार ने खाड़ी देशों में भ्रष्ट एजेंटों और नियोक्ताओं द्वारा घरेलू नौकरानियों को उत्पीड़ित तथा परेशान किए जाने की शिकायतों को देखते हुए उत्प्रवास जांच अपेक्षित (र्इसीआर) देशों को उत्प्रवास करने वाली भारतीय महिला कामगारों के हितों की रक्षा के लिए अतिरिक्त उपाय भी किए हैं।

78. (e) In view of the complaints of exploitation and harassment of the domestic sector workers by unscrupulous agents and employers in the Gulf countries, the Government has taken additional measures during 2016, to safeguard the interests of Indian workers, especially female workers migrating to ECR countries.

(ड़) खाड़ी के देशों में बेईमान एजेंटों और नियोक्ताओं द्वारा घरेलू नौकरानियों की शोषण और उत्पीड़न की शिकायतों के मद्देनजर सरकार ने उत्प्रवासन जाँच अपेक्षित देशों में जाने वाले भारतीय कामगारों, विशेषतः महिला कामगारों के हितों को सुरक्षित करने के लिए 2016 के दौरान अतिरिक्त उपाय किए हैं।
