बारहवीं पंचवर्षीय योजना के तहत अक्षय ऊर्जा मंत्रालय में 30 हजार मेगावाट का लक्ष्य रखा था जबकि इरडा ने कुल 4800 मेगावाट का लक्ष्य निर्धारित किया था।
