1. 44 On that day men were appointed over the storehouses+ for the contributions,+ the firstfruits,+ and the tenths.

44 उस दिन कुछ आदमियों को भंडार-घरों की देखरेख के लिए ठहराया गया,+ जहाँ लोगों से मिलनेवाले दान,+ पहली उपज+ और दसवाँ हिस्सा इकट्ठा किया जाता था।

2. But each one in his own proper order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who belong to the Christ [his joint rulers] during his presence.

मगर हर कोई अपनी-अपनी बारी से: पहले फलों के तौर पर मसीह, उसके बाद वे जो मसीह के हैं [जो उसके साथ राज करते हैं] उसकी मौजूदगी के दौरान ज़िंदा किए जाएँगे।

3. 5 As soon as the order was issued, the Israelites gave in great quantities the firstfruits of the grain, new wine, oil,+ and honey, and of all the produce of the field;+ they brought in abundantly the tenth of everything.

* 5 राजा का यह आदेश पाते ही इसराएलियों ने अपनी उपज के पहले फल में से यह सब बहुतायत में लाकर दिया: अनाज, नयी दाख-मदिरा, तेल,+ शहद और खेत की बाकी उपज। + उन्होंने हर चीज़ का दसवाँ हिस्सा लाकर दिया और इस तरह उन्होंने दान में बहुत सारी चीज़ें लाकर दीं।
