दिलचस्पी की बात है कि मूल इब्रानी पाठ में कुछ वाक्य हैं जिन पर गौर करने से यहोवा का नाम देखा जा सकता है। इन वाक्यों में एक-के-बाद-एक आनेवाले शब्दों के पहले अक्षर को जोड़ने पर या आखिरी अक्षर को जोड़ने पर परमेश्वर का नाम बनता है। शायद ये वाक्य जानबूझकर इस तरह लिखे गए थे।
