1. 5 So that they do not drink and forget what is decreed

5 परमेश्वर का हर वचन पूरी तरह शुद्ध है,+

यदि खुदा ने पहले से ही जानकर फैसला कर लिया था कि आदम गुनाह करेगा, तो यहोवा गुनाह का बनानेवाला बना क्येंकि उसने इंसान को बनाया और वह सारी इंसानी बदकारी और दुःखतकलीफों के लिए ज़िम्मेदार होता।

अगर एक राजा हमेशा ही शराब के नशे में चूर रहता है तो क्या हम उम्मीद कर सकते हैं कि वह अपने होशो-हवास में रहकर कोई सही फैसला कर पाएगा? और क्या यह भी उम्मीद की जा सकती है कि वह ‘व्यवस्था को [नहीं] भूलेगा और किसी दुःखी के हक़ को न मारेगा?’—नीतिवचन 31:4-7.
