1. October 12, 2017 Ambassador Nikki Haley, U.S. Permanent Representative to the United Nations, held a meeting with U Thaung Tun, National Security Advisor of Burma, to discuss the urgent refugee crisis in Burma.

12 अक्तूबर 2017 संयुक्त राष्ट्र में संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की स्थायी प्रतिनिधि, राजदूत निक्की हेली, ने बर्मा के राष्ट्रीय सुरक्षा सलाहकार, यू थौंग टुन, के साथ बर्मा में तत्काल शरणार्थी संकट पर विचार-विमर्श करने के लिए एक बैठक की।

2. The ultimatum demanded that the Burmese accept a new British resident in Mandalay, that any legal action or fines against the Company be suspended until the arrival of the resident, that Burma submit to British control of its foreign relations and that Burma should provide the British with commercial facilities for the development of trade between northern Burma and China.

चेतावनी में मांग की गयी कि बर्मा के लोग मांडले में एक नए ब्रिटिश रेज़ीडेंट को स्वीकार करें, कंपनी के विरुद्ध कोई कानूनी कार्रवाई अथवा जुर्माना रेज़ीडेंट के आगमन तक निलंबित किया जाये, बर्मा अपने विदेशी संबंधों को ब्रिटिश नियंत्रण के लिए प्रस्तुत करे तथा बर्मा ब्रिटिश लोगों को व्यापारिक सुविधाएं प्रदान करे जिससे उत्तरी बर्मा तथा चीन के साथ व्यापार का विकास किया जा सके।

भारतीय सेना बर्मा में एक डिविजन और एडेन में एक ब्रिगेड की आपूर्ति के लिए भी जिम्मेदार थी।

7. The United States also calls upon the Burmese government to allow for unhindered humanitarian access to people in Rakhine State, Burma, so we can more fully address pressing humanitarian needs.

संयुक्त राज्य अमेरिका की बर्मा सरकार से भी मांग है कि वह राखीन राज्य, बर्मा में लोगो तक रूकावट के बिना मानवतावादी पहुंच प्रदान करें।

8. We urge Burmese authorities to protect the religious freedom of all in Burma, hold accountable those responsible for abuses, provide unhindered humanitarian access to all in need, and ensure equal protection under the law for all.

हम बर्मा के अधिकारियों से अनुरोध करते हैं कि बर्मा में सभी की धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता की रक्षा करें, उल्लंघन के लिए जिम्मेदार लोगों को पकड़ें, सभी ज़रूरतमंदों को बेरोकटोक मानवीय सहायता पहुंचाएं, और कानून के तहत सभी के लिए समान सुरक्षा सुनिश्चित करें।

9. Knowledgeable sources in Bangladesh told Human Rights Watch that they heard the distinctive sounds of heavy and light machine gun fire and mortar shelling in villages just across the border in Burma, and spotted smoke arising from these villages shortly afterward.

बांग्लादेश के जानकार सूत्रों ने ह्यूमन राइट्स वॉच को बताया कि उन्होंने बर्मा में सीमा के पास के गांवों में भारी और हल्की मशीन गन और मोर्टार से हुई गोलाबारी की अलग-अलग आवाजें सुनीं और इसके कुछ ही समय बाद इन गांवों से धुआं उठते देखा.
