26. This year, as you said Excellency, we mark the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between India and the Netherlands and it is absolutely, therefore natural that we focus even more on our bilateral relations.

(a) & (b) The UN Trust Fund was launched in 2009 following the adoption by the UN General Assembly in May 2007 of the resolution sponsored by CARICOM and African Union to commemorate the 200th anniversary of abolition of transatlantic slave trade as well as to create a Trust Fund to construct a Permanent Memorial at the United Nations in New York.
