विदेश सचिव: इस संबंध में निरंतर बातचीत की जाती है तथा व्यापार में संतुलन लाने और व्यापार असंतुलन को समाप्त करने जैसे समग्र मुद्दे पर भारत और चीन पक्ष के बीच नियमित रूप से संपर्क बनाए रखा जाता है।

Our President mentioned to the Chinese leadership, she emphasized, that there was need to address this adverse balance of trade not only through a diversification of the trade basket but especially through the import of more goods from India, particularly in pharmaceuticals, in engineering goods, in agricultural products, in IT and IT-enabled services.

राष्ट्रपति महोदया ने चीनी नेताओं के समक्ष जोर देकर कहा कि न सिर्फ व्यापार को विविधतापूर्ण बनाकर व्यापार असंतुलन की इस समस्या का समाधान किए जाने की आवश्यकता है बल्कि भारत से चीन में भेषजों, इंजीनियरिंग सामानों, कृषि उत्पादों, आईटी एवं आईटी समर्थित सेवाओं के आयात को बढ़ावा देकर भी हमारे व्यापार में विविधता लाई जानी चाहिए।
