13. However, overcoming the challenges of insecurity in Afghanistan require serious and sustained efforts not only by the Afghan leadership, but also a sincere commitment by external powers to abjure the temptation to foster and sponsor disruptive forces within Afghanistan.

तथापि, अफगानिस्तान में असुरक्षा की स्थिति से निपटने के लिए न सिर्फ अफगानिस्तान के नेताओं द्वारा सतत प्रयास किए जाने चाहिए बल्कि बाहरी ताकतों को भी इस आशय की प्रतिबद्धता व्यक्त करनी चाहिए कि वे अफगानिस्तान के भीतर विनाशकारी ताकतों को बढ़ावा देने से परहेज करेंगे।

14. On developments in Syria, the two sides strongly expressed deep concern on the continuing and unabated violence and called upon all sides in Syria to abjure violence and resolve all issues peacefully through discussions taking in to account the aspirations of people of Syria.

सीरिया की घटनाओं के संबंध में दोनों पक्षों ने निरंतर जारी हिंसा पर गंभीर चिंता जताई और सीरिया में सभी पक्षों से हिंसा से बचने और सीरिया की जनता की अभिलाषाओं को ध्यान में रखते हुए बातचीत के माध्यम से सभी मसलों के शांतिपूर्ण समाधान का आह्वान किया।

Government of India is supportive of the initiative of the elected Government of Afghanistan to integrate such elements into the national mainstream which abjure violence, abide by the Constitution of Afghanistan, and are respectful of the economic and political gains that Afghanistan has made in the past several years.

भारत, मालदीव सरकार और सभी संबंधित दलों से आग्रह करता है कि वे निर्वाचन प्रक्रिया में रचनात्मक भूमिका निभाकर तथा किसी और विलंब के बगैर राष्ट्रपति चुनावों के आयोजन में निर्वाचन आयोग की पूरी मदद करके मालदीव की जनता के प्रति अपनी जिम्मेदारी पूरी करें। भारत सभी पक्षों से हिंसा से बचने और शांति बनाए रखने का भी आग्रह करता है।

19. * Recalling their efforts as IBSA to contribute to a peaceful and diplomatic solution of the situation in Syria, the Ministers called upon all parties to the Syrian conflict to abjure violence so that conducive environment may be created for an inclusive Syrian-led political dialogue leading to a comprehensive political solution, taking into account the legitimate aspirations of the people of Syria.

As the world’s largest democracy, India was amongst the first countries to welcome the 25th January revolution and the promise of genuine democracy in a large and important country like Egypt with which we have traditionally enjoyed close and friendly ties.India urges all political forces to abjure violence, exercise restraint, respect democratic principles and the rule of law and engage in a conciliatory dialogue to address the present situation.
