1. 10 And he also prophesieth evil concerning thy alife, and saith that thy life shall be as a garment in a furnace of fire.

10 Et il prophétise aussi du mal concernant ta vie et dit que ta vie sera comme un vêtement dans une fournaise de feu.

2. The Prophet Isaiah spoke of the decadence and corruption of leaders and then continued in his admonitions by saying: “But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”

Le prophète Ésaïe s’est exprimé sur la décadence et la corruption des dirigeants et a poursuivi ses admonestations en disant : « Mais les méchants sont comme la mer agitée, Qui ne peut se calmer, Et dont les eaux soulèvent la vase et le limon.

3. Alma described this part of the Savior’s Atonement: “And he shall go forth, suffering pains and afflictions and temptations of every kind; and this that the word might be fulfilled which saith he will take upon him the pains and the sicknesses of his people” (Alma 7:11; also see 2 Nephi 9:21).

Alma décrit cette partie de l’expiation du Sauveur : « Et il ira, subissant des souffrances, et des afflictions, et des tentations de toute espèce ; et cela, pour que s’accomplisse la parole qui dit qu’il prendra sur lui les souffrances et les maladies de son peuple. » (Alma 7:11 ; voir aussi 2 Néphi 9:21).

4. And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre, and take off the crown; this shall be no more the same; exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.

Et toi, profane, méchant prince d’Israël, dont le jour est venu maintenant que l’iniquité est à son terme. Ainsi parle le Seigneur, Jéhovah : La tiare va être ôtée et la couronne enlevée ; tout sera bouleversé ; ce qui est bas sera élevé, ce qui est haut sera abaissé.

5. And the LORD spake by his servants the prophets, saying, Because Manasseh king of Judah hath done these abominations, and hath done wickedly above all that the Amorites did, which were before him, and hath made Judah also to sin with his idols: Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

Alors l'Éternel parla par ses serviteurs les prophètes et dit: Parce que Manassé, roi de Juda, a commis de telles abominations, faisant pis que tout ce qu'ont fait les Amoréens avant lui, et qu'il a fait aussi pécher Juda par ses idoles; A cause de cela, ainsi dit l'Éternel, le Dieu d'Israël: Voici, je vais faire venir sur Jérusalem et sur Juda un mal tel que quiconque en entendra parler, les deux oreilles lui en tinteront.

6. 71 And if they do appropriate any portion of that stock anywhere else, only in that house, without the consent of the stockholder, and do not repay fourfold for the stock which they appropriate anywhere else, only in that house, they shall be accursed, and shall be moved out of their place, saith the Lord God; for I, the Lord, am God, and cannot be a mocked in any of these things.

71 Et s'ils affectent une partie de ces actions à un autre but que cette maison sans le consentement de l'actionnaire et ne remboursent pas au quadruple les actions qu'ils affectent ailleurs que dans cette maison, ils seront maudits et seront enlevés de leur place, dit le Seigneur Dieu; car moi, le Seigneur, je suis Dieu, et on ne peut se a moquer de moi en aucune de ces choses.
