1. Required expertise: Risk assessment within the area of the Panel as described above comprising one or more of the following topics: toxicology (preferably applied to risk assessment of chemicals), mechanisms of action, toxicokinetics and toxicodynamics, pathology and physiology, carcinogenicity, genotoxicity and mutagenicity, Allergenicity and Immunotoxicity, Developmental and reproduction toxicity, Alternative toxicological testing, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food consumption and exposure assessment, Food technology and Microbiology within the area of the Panel as described above.

Compétences requises: évaluations des risques dans le domaine de compétence du groupe scientifique (voir description ci-dessus), englobant une ou plusieurs des matières suivantes: toxicologie (de préférence appliquée à l’évaluation des risques des substances chimiques); mécanismes d’action, toxicocinétique et toxicodynamique; pathologie et physiologie; carcinogénicité, génotoxicité et mutagénicité; allergénicité et immunotoxicité; toxicité pour la reproduction et le développement; essais toxicologiques alternatifs; chimie; biochimie; consommation alimentaire et évaluations de l’exposition; technologie alimentaire et microbiologie.
