1. 15 In vivid word pictures, Isaiah describes the spread of wickedness and violence in Israel: “Wickedness has become aflame just like a fire; thornbushes and weeds it will eat up.

Trotzdem ließ Lot nicht zu, daß ihre Schlechtigkeit ihn dazu bewog, mit gleicher Münze heimzuzahlen.

3 Und es begab sich: Das Volk begann, in Schlechtigkeit und Greueltaten stark zu werden, und sie glaubten nicht, daß noch weitere Zeichen oder Wunder gegeben werden würden; und der Satan aging umher und verleitete dem Volk das Herz und versuchte sie und veranlaßte sie, große Schlechtigkeit im Land zu begehen.

5. 3 And it came to pass that the people began to wax strong in wickedness and abominations; and they did not believe that there should be any more signs or wonders given; and Satan did a go about, leading away the hearts of the people, tempting them and causing them that they should do great wickedness in the land.

3 Und es begab sich: Das Volk begann, in Schlechtigkeit und Greueltaten stark zu werden, und sie glaubten nicht, daß noch weitere Zeichen oder Wunder gegeben werden würden; und der Satan a ging umher und verleitete dem Volk das Herz und versuchte sie und veranlaßte sie, große Schlechtigkeit im Land zu begehen.

6. If God foreknew and decreed Adam’s fall into sin, then Jehovah became the author of sin when he made man and he would be responsible for all human wickedness and suffering.

Hätte Gott den Sündenfall Adams vorhergewußt und vorherbestimmt, dann wäre Jehova der Urheber der Sünde geworden, als er den Menschen erschuf, und damit für alle Bosheit der Menschen und alles Leid verantwortlich geworden.

11. 31 For behold, I, the Lord, have seen the sorrow, and heard the mourning of the daughters of my people in the land of Jerusalem, yea, and in all the lands of my people, because of the wickedness and a abominations of their b husbands .

31 Denn siehe, ich, der Herr, habe das Leid gesehen und das Klagen der Töchter meines Volkes im Land Jerusalem vernommen, ja, und in allen Ländern meines Volkes, wegen der Schlechtigkeit und Greueltaten ihrer Ehemänner.

12. But behold, the time cometh, saith the Lord, that when ye shall cast out the righteous from among you, then shall ye be a ripe for destruction; yea, wo be unto this great city, because of the wickedness and abominations which are in her.

Aber siehe, die Zeit kommt, spricht der Herr, da ihr die Rechtschaffenen von euch ausstoßen werdet, dann werdet ihr reif sein für die Vernichtung; ja, weh sei dieser großen Stadt wegen der Schlechtigkeit und der Greuel, die in ihr sind.
